The hotel is in a location within walking distance to the train station which is nice. The rooms were nice and the staff was great. The main locations we were looking to visit, colosseum, vatican, spanish steps were all a bit of a hike, and I'm not convinced the hotel was in the best location for the price. But it...

The hotel is right next to the central train station and metro. Very convenient. The room is small and the single bed tiny, but facilities are well equipped and sufficient. The hotel staff all speak English well. Marchello (not sure how to spell his name correctly) was outstanding in being helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great too. I had...

The hotel is conveniently located close to the central railway station, the central bus station and a metro station. The interior seems pretty new and it is kept spotlessly clean and shiny. Our room was very quiet, of adequate size and nicely decorated. The breakfasts are fine with a choice of hot and cold food. The staff are very helpful....

Fantastic staff, very clean boutique style hotel. I had second thoughts about staying because of the low per night price so I only booked 1 night. We ended up staying a total of 3 nights because the location is perfect, and honestly the front desk workers were amazing! Rooms were a little small, but for 2 people worked out great.

Great hotel in the perfect location. Only 2 blocks from the main train station but located on a VERY QUIET street. Several lovely restaurants within walking distance. We were 3 people sharing a triple (3 single beds) but we did not feel cramped. Very clean, modern hotel with a lovely buffet breakfast. Only improvement could be with the Front Desk...

Dear guest, We are deeply sorry that the normal activity of our front desk (a phone conversation with other hotel departments about the hotel issues or a conversation between colleagues as a part of their duties) has been taken as a personal conversation and as such, a lack of the respect towards our client and a lack of the professionalism....

Stayed for 5 nights in a group of 3 couples. We read the reviews and booked on the basis of them. We were not disappointed. This small hotel was excellent and very good value. The rooms were clean and well equipped, the same as the public areas. Breakfast was good, with fresh rolls, croisants etc daily. The breakfast room was...

Thank you my fellow Trip Advisor reviewers for tipping me to the Yes Hotel. As usual your comments were spot on. PROS * Room - My room was spotless, and the recent renovations are appreciated. Yes the room was small, but if you go to a European boutique hotel expecting to get a Marriott-sized room you will be disappointed every...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
