I would consider this hotel the worst placed I've ever stayed at. The rooms were small and crammed full of unusable furniture. The bed was very uncomfortable as well. We had a room overlooking a tiny courtyard that was hot and stuffy. Other guests were leaning out their windows smoking so the smoke would enter our room too. We tried... More

The hotel is located approximately 5 minutes walk from Termini station. The room was fairly clean, and they accommodated our late check-in (after midnight). Wifi and air conditioning both cost extra. There is breakfast offered (for a price), though we did not have it. We were charged a city tax of 6 euro per night on top of our pre-paid... More

The room was clean and tidy, as was bathroom (bidet included, if that's important to you), large windows that open onto Main Street (not too noisy, this part of Rome gets pretty quiet after midnight) You get what you pay for, it is cheap and basic. Nearby Termini station and within walking distance to central Rome. However, this hotel charges... More

This hotel is a great option for people looking for a nice place without spending much money. The hotel is very close to Termini station, therefore connected to everywhere at anytime, buses, trains and metro. Breakfast is taken into the room and it amazing for the price of the room. Rooms are small but comfy.

Located 350m from Rome Termini, this hotel has friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are minuscule, but the in room bathroom was sufficient in size and kept spotless. Internet speed was adequate for iPhone use for checking e-mail. At $54.51 with breakfast in early October, it was a good deal. The beds are quite firm. Not my preference, but this... More

This is one of those places where you literally get the basics. It is close to a few things but it's just basic. Comfy beds!! And cheap!! If you are after something with a quick stay and cheap budget I do recommend this place.

We picked this hotel based on the price and location. I booked thru booking.com and I emailed the hotel to confirm our stay however despite multiple emails, I didn't get a reply. I was a little bit worried. When we got there however, everything was great and in order. The hotel is near the termini station and close to many... More

The place is decent. I was surprised to see such a big room. The room seemed clean. We were mostly outside, so it was fine. The building looks a little run down. The lift was dodgy. The best part is location and the price. The language was a little problem

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
