The Artorius is a great, small hotel which offers very clean, comfortable and affordable accomodation. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it and would definitely consider here again. Rome is expensive and after reading piles of reviews of hotels where the rooms and bathrooms were miniscule,...More
Stayed for nights in last week of October with my wife and 20 month old son. Charming little hotel on a quiet street just off the via nationale. Very enjoyable stay, perfect location for most of the major sites, lots of nice little restaurants nearby.

Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighbourhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighbourhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at
Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
