The Hotel is centrally located and well connected to the central district, however the room conditions were very poor. The Air-conditioning was not working and there was no staff to attend. there is place for breakfast only for 10/12 people and the food spared is also very minimum. No hot coffee was available. only the day staff at the reception understood English all other staff did not speak or understand English. I would defiantly not recommend this of any traveler specially with family on a vacation.

This was a small, charming but modest hotel in the heart of Rome but what made it really special was its staff. They bent over backwards to help us in any way possible. Our airlines lost our luggage and Marco ( an incredible Latinum employee) called numerous times to try and get our luggage for us. He kept on it even after we left and were no longer his guests. He called us when we were in Florence to let us know he had finally located our luggage and directed it to our new hotel. I was really impressed with all his efforts even when we were no longer his responsibility. There was nothing in the world he wouldn’t do for us. Absolutely 5 Star service. Thank you, Marco, and Latinum hotel.

Hotel lovely only issue no milk for coffee in room. Marco on the desk, went above and beyond to assist 2 Scottish women with no Italian and many requests, he deserves employee of the month at the very least. All the other staff members were also friendly and helpful, all in all a good visit, thank you all.

The hotel staff were incredibly polite and helpful - when we first arrived they provided us with a map of the area and let us know the nearby Metro stations which came in handy! Breakfast is a bit barebones with no hot food, but considering the low cost this was more than reasonable. The room was a reasonable size and we enjoyed sitting by the window which you could fully open. The only thing that lets it down somewhat is the area which is a bit rough.

Stayed 1 night as part of cruise package our driver had 3 attempts to find hotel.as it just looks like a building. Entrance tucked away at side not immediately obvious. Very pleasant Lady on reception gave us coffee and let us leave bags as we arrived before check in time. Hotel is in a run down dirty area no where to get food or drink in evening and nothing available at hotel. Not close or convenient to attractions but we did eventually discover trams stopped opposite. Typical continental breakfast which was OK.but impossible to get a hot cup of coffee. Room clean and comfortable but.very dark.adequate for a 1 night stay. Not impressed next day when charged 12 euros to leave our bags which weren't even in a locked room just left at side of reception desk. I've never paid to leave luggage in any hotel.ive visited before. Not the best or worst hotel but I think I would choose somewhere else on any subsequent visit to Rome.

Stayed for 2 nights which was included in our trip. Public transport right in front of the hotel and close to everything. Good size, clean room/bathroom. Located at the 2nd floor corner/front of the building, has a small fridge with mini bar. Iron upon request only. Noise outside from different transportation is minimal, never bothered us at night. Simple typical Italian continental breakfast. Marco at the front desk, very knowledgeable and helpful, made our stay very interesting & memorable. Over all we enjoyed our stay and hope to visit the place again.

The Best hôtel un Roma ! Very friendly owner, and the hôtel is located close to all the main activities to do in Roma. The rooms are really clean, not noisy at all and the TV are new. If you have time, get an expresso at the bar, is from faraway the best in town !

The management are psychotic, they literally roared and screamed at me and my partner for bringing crisps and drink up to the room that WE paid for! I’ve never seen the likes of it. They tried to say it was illegal to bring food up to our room. And there no more a 4 star hotel I would give it a 1 at the highest. Rude staff, graffiti all over the wall, air conditioning is so loud and bearly works, loud area on a busy road, power went, small rooms. Please do NOT go to this hotel, we were so close to leaving half way through our stay but we wouldn’t have got our money back. WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED IN. And I’ve travelled all over the world!

We stayed at the Hotel Latinum for 3 nights in August. There was an issue on arrival when our allocated room was overbooked but the hotel staff arranged for us to be put up in a ground floor room for 1 night. Note this room had no safe and had bars on the windows. The hotel staff moved our luggage to the new room the following day and we did experience a shower flooding and the shower head was very mouldy. However they staff were quick to unblock the shower drain. Caution was needed with regards to the in bathroom hairdryer as it was held together with sellotape. The hotel is some 2km from the Termini so do not try to walk with a lot of luggage. Unfortunately the metro line nearest the hotel was closed for work while we were there so only the Colloseum was within reasonable walking distance. However Rome city taxis are plentiful and relatively cheap to use. The hotel is advertised as a 4 star however we felt that was generous. Not our best choice but the hotel have addressed all our complaints since we returned home.

I have given 4 stars purely because the customer service and hospitality from the lady on reception was impeccable. There was nothing more she could’ve done to make our stay comfortable. She allowed us to drop our bags as we got there a few hours before check in. Every morning she greeted us and asked if there was anything we needed. The breakfast was very continental which isn’t to our taste but we made the best of it with bread rolls, ham, cheese, hard boiled eggs, cereal, croissants and yoghurt. We had to have a small snack in the afternoon as we couldn’t get to dinner without eating something. The room was fine, if a little dark. The air con came in handy as it was very hot when we were there. I have seen some reviews that have complained about the noise from the public transport outside but with the shutters and window closed it was no different to a normal busy road back home. There was a fridge stocked with drinks which we didn’t have, but used it for our water bottles. The bathroom was clean and had a hairdryer attached to the wall. The only thing I didn’t like about the bathroom was that the b’day got in the way of the entrance to the shower. There was also a safe in the wardrobe which we made use of. The bed was okay, if a little firm, but we slept fine. All in all, a decent hotel but not a 4 star as advertised. Would recommend to people who like good transport links and a nice 20-25 min walk to the colosseum.
