If you're not going to spend much time in your hostel, this is a great location. It is less than a 10 minute walk to a major metro station (bus, subway and train), Termini. Another subway station is even closer, less than 5 minutes away. Room was clean, bathroom decent. We booked 3 nights for a double with a shared...

Beautiful and very clean place in a well located area of Rome. Close to local amenities and to public transportation links. The owner Agapi is also a very nice and helpful person. I definitely would recommend this place for a nice stay in Rome.

En-suite rooms were surprisingly big, airy and clean. Room was cleaned with clean towels provided daily. The lift was tired and old and we were thankful it worked. The free breakfast was very basic and we were thankful for the fresh coffee. The owner, Agapi is a lovely lady and she arranged our transport to and from the airport as...

I stayed here in May 2015 for 4 nights with my boyfriend in a double room with private bathroom. We arrived a little earlier than expected but they were really accommodating and let us in earlier. The b and b is located over two floors and has about 10 or so rooms. The room was fantastic. It was really beautiful,...

I stayed with my girlfriend and this place is convenient, having lots of restaurant nearby, two stop from termini central train station. The only thing to pick would be the breakfast is rather basic, just simple juice and crossiant. The rest are fine and i enjoy my stay.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
