Firstly let me start off by saying, our trip to Rome would not have been as memorable had it not been for Emiliano our Limousine driver/guide/friend and "Fratello di Roma", utilising his services from Residence San Pietro. Staying at San Pietro La Corte, so close to the Vatican and other fascinating centres of Rome, we truly felt like locals. Our...

The Residence San Pietro la Corte is in a courtyard in the Fornaci neighbourhood, which is 5 min. walk from San Peter's and well connected by train and buses, but not overrun by traffic or tour groups. Very central, but---rare for Rome---quiet and tranquil. The suites have useful kitchenettes, and the staff is accommodating and knowledgeable. We've stayed several times...

Would highly recommend San Pietro La Corte. Our stay was very pleasant in this vert clean and well appointed resort. It's convenience to St. Peter's, the Vatican, a wide selection of dining venues and access to public transportation made our vacation a fantastic, enjoyable experience.

I stayed in San Pietro La Corte for four weeks while leading a study abroad trip with 12 graduate students. The location is exceptional - a 3 min walk to the Vatican, grocery store up the street, plenty of restaurants that are not overrun by tourists. I often felt like a native, rather than a tourist. A five minute walk...

I stayed at San Pietro La Corte for six and a half weeks and was very happy with my experience. These suites are situated within a few blocks of St. Peter's Square and within walking distance of many of the city's sites, restaurants, and shopping. As well, there is easy access to trains, buses, and the Metro from this location,...

San Pietro La Corte was an amazingly wonderful residence to stay in when my mother, daughter and I visited Rome this September. The people were extremely helpful, warm hearted and pleasant, the location exceptional, within 2 blocks of Vatican city, in a safe, friendly, clean part of the city, near many good restaurants and shops. The residence itself was pleasant...

Large, clean apartment located in a beautiful, quiet setting that is only a couple of minutes (if that) walk to the Vatican. The area has a nice, friendly (and safe) neighborhood feel with a couple of small grocers right across the street and a larger grocery store about a 5 minute walk away. Kitchens are equipped with a cooktop (2...

We stayed here some years back and found the apartment spacious and close to the Vatican. Decided to stay here again on this visit (twice). Once again very helpful reception staff. They contacted us personally to assess our needs and time of arrival. The apartment was spotlessly clean and while the decor needs a bit of an update if one...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Residence, opened in 2001, consists of cozy one-, two-, and three-rooms apartments with independent entry, kitchenette, Wi-Fi, TV, direct phone, cleaning-service, supply and change of bed-and bathroom linen, private underground garage with direct access to the floors, lift on 4 levels garage included. Central heating - air conditioning on request. The environment which frames the building is a private garden situated only 100 meters away from Saint Peter's square. The name "La Corte" in Italian means "The Yard", and it's owed to this peculiar condition. Centrality and quiet blend to define a unique space, a sheer oasis of tranquility in the heart of Rome. In front of the theatre "Ghione", only 100 meters away from Saint Peter's square, the Residence allows to reach in a short time, both by bus and by foot, all major sites of historical and artistic interest. It's indeed the closest aparthotel to the Vatican's hospital "Bambino Gesù". ... more   less
