For affordable, clean accommodation very close to St Peter's Square these apartments are excellent. The proprietors are very helpful and offer a good standard of accommodation at a very competitive rate. You need to bear in mind that extras are available on a pay as you go/request basis. This means that air conditioning and use of entire kitchen facilities come...

If you do not care about how the rooms are but are looking for a place close to the vatican this is a good choise. The room was clean at least floors and bathroom. The textiles had not been clean for quite a while and the smell accordingly. Not a hotel for staying in on a rainy day in Rome....

Experience Rome as a local. Large, clean apartment in a quiet back street a mere 60 second walk from the Vatican. Helpful staff and great value for money. The straff are very friendly. However, do remember to ask for an apartment with aircondition if you are traveling during hot season.

This residencia has 39 small apartments, variable in sizes that sleeps 2 to 5 or 6. All have kitchenette, fridge and 4 rings electric stove top. No oven, no microwave. But very adequate for small quick meals. But who wants to cook, when there are 5, 6 good restaurants within 2 minutes walk? Also because the hotel is not on...

Quiet place in viewing distance of St.Peter Square, close to a number of Restaurants, ideal location for a couple of days in heart of Rome. one negative: though this was an appartment we were charged €15/day extra to use kitchen and cutlery, which we didn't use (nor paid).

Pros - Spacious apartment - Kitchen access with lots of cooking tools - Proximity to Vatican (around the corner) but far enough from the noise Cons - Ran out of hot water after 10 minutes in the shower - Internet would disappear from time to time for indefinite periods of time

The Residence, opened in 2001, consists of cozy one-, two-, and three-rooms apartments with independent entry, kitchenette, Wi-Fi, TV, direct phone, cleaning-service, supply and change of bed-and bathroom linen, private underground garage with direct access to the floors, lift on 4 levels garage included. Central heating - air conditioning on request. The environment which frames the building is a private garden situated only 100 meters away from Saint Peter's square. The name "La Corte" in Italian means "The Yard", and it's owed to this peculiar condition. Centrality and quiet blend to define a unique space, a sheer oasis of tranquility in the heart of Rome. In front of the theatre "Ghione", only 100 meters away from Saint Peter's square, the Residence allows to reach in a short time, both by bus and by foot, all major sites of historical and artistic interest.
