I stayed in One Step from St Peter from 22nd September to 01st October, 2012. I wish to state that it is a home away from a home, well located for easy assess of the bus stop and termini station. The environment is excellent and clean with laundry facilities. The owner is very generous; customers have assess to the kitchen...

The family who owns the B&B is extremely friendly and helpful with whatever needs or queries you would have, and able to give very useful information or suggestions about places to visit and what is the best method or time to go about it. They can also fill you in on special events taking place in Rome during your visit...

I stayed here for 5 nights last week. As a single female traveler, I felt very safe and at ease here. The bathrooms were always immaculately clean, the a/c in the room is easy to control and works very well, the location is outstanding - just a 5 minute walk from the metro made it very easy to get around...

My fiancé and I stayed at 1 Step in July 2012 for one week. We were impressed with our stay there and were raving about it the whole trip. Of the 4 places we stayed, our favourite was 1 Step! The owner was outstandingly helpful, courteous and hospitable. When we arrived we were weary, hot and exhausted. He welcomed us...

1 Step from St Peter was a great bed and breakfast. Friedrich was fabulous with helping us find all the attractions, transport and restaurants. In fact, the two restaurants he recommended where some of the best we ate on our whole trip! Friedrich's parents were lovely also. It felt like we were guests of the family. Breakfast was included and...

Location: This hostel was very easy to find, only 200 meters from the metro, and easy walking distance to The Vatican. You are on the west side of the river, but you are out of the hustle and bustle of the sites. There is a great little store with drinks and snacks that are half the price of what they...

We arrived late after our flights were delayed (Ryan air - say no more) and the poor man had stayed up fro us. The room was massive and really clean and the decorations were beautiful. Unfortunatley, we had to cross over the corridor to go the bathroom - but this was not a problem. The Vatican was just a 10...

Having staying in many a hotel I would have to say this is something slightly different. It's more like having your own apartment in Rome. The guesthouse is owned by Frederich, who lives on the top floor. You get your own set of keys and can come and go as you please. The best thing about staying here is the...

“We chose the delux twin, which is actually a double , and is worth the little bit extra. It is really a studio apartment perched on the top level of the apartment block over looking the Vatican. As well as the double bed, you have a private kitchen , small lounge area, private bathroom and a huge private terrace. We spent most nights in cooking our own food and even had a dinner on the terrace for four one evening. All the breakfast food was provided and you arrive to a well stocked fridge. Pay the extra, you won't be disappointed.”

“Room #2 is very spacious and would be great for a family! The room does face the street which can be a little noisy at night (a lot of cars are parked there) and might bother a very light sleeper.”
