Hotel Re di Roma is a lovely hotel 4 minutes walk from metro and 4 stops from Termini station so is well linked to the hustle and bustle of Rome. We arrived early and our room was ready which was the first impressive thing. The breakfast was also impressive with a range of coffee, tea, juice, water, meat, cheese, bread, egg, cereals, yoghurts, and my favourite part was the pastries with pistachio filling. The room had air con and beds were comfortable. We appreciate them fulfilling our request for a shower instead of bath. Staff were very friendly.

A great hotel less than 10 mins walk from Tuscolana train station (in airport) & 2 mins to Re di Roma metro station.
The hotel was slightly difficult to find as it has no obvious sign on the front & looks like an apartment block. Once inside - we were met with great hospitality. Our room was on the 3rd floor with a lovely little balcony. The room was spacious with good storage & a nice bathroom with fresh, clean towels & lots of hot water. breakfast was a good selection of hot & cold options & was very organized & regularly topped up.
The bed was quite comfortable (the pillows weren’t great) whilst we had a mini fridge, we had no kettle for tea/coffee. There was a mini hairdryer in the bathroom but I’d advised to bring your own as it wasn’t v powerful.
Lots of shops, bars & cafes close by. Caffe Hawaii & Zero were our favorite, whilst a short walk to Foodie is a definite must. Trattoria Re Di Roma was a beautiful restaurant & we also enjoyed Feelsgood.
The WiFi in the bedroom was slightly hit & miss & usually it wouldn’t bother us but as the day usually starts early to make the most of the city, it meant early nights for us so we did enjoy relaxing watching tv before lights out.
The walls are pretty thin so we could hear the neighbours chatting.
The staff were so friendly & always made sure to remind us to be aware of pickpockets.
Overall, a fabulous experience to a beautiful city & I’d highly recommend this hotel.

You'll be disappointed as you approach the hotel because the road is lined with walls of graffiti, and rather dirty too. Hotel Re stands out like gem midst this mess. Clean footpath in front no graffiti on external walls and an eclectic interior.

Pleasant staff Paolo who welcomed us and provided much help about the scheduled strike by metro workers on 6th May. He even showed us where the breakfast would be served.

Room was large about 17sq m, wooden finish and comfortable twin beds. Toilet and shower were clean. Fridge, safe and cupboard space made it feel like home. Even the key to the door and hey to the safe felt old world.

Location - very near to the station Re Di Roma.

The bfast was marvelous, hot scrambled eggs, fresh bacon, breads, hot drinks, yoghurt, cold drinks made you ready for the touring ahead.

Single room was too small. No Tea coffee maker in room. Location was good . The staff were very polite and helpful . They arranged for a taxi in the wee hours of the morning and were helpful enough to keep him waiting for 15 mins.

The hotel is great, clean, good breakfast, the staff will give the internet a 10/10 for everything. Cons: difficult to find, no signs, no kettle in the room. The hotel is located very conveniently, travel tickets are sold across the road, there is a metro station nearby and you can get to all the attractions. Very convenient, special respect to the staff smart guys, if we go to Rome again, then only to this hotel

We had a long weekend recently and would recommend this hotel. The rooms are clean and very quiet, the bed... really very comfortable. The breakfast was good but I would suggest something more savory. The friendly staff, all young. The location is close to the Re di Roma metro, there are many bars and restaurants nearby. You can also get to San Giovanni on foot, if you want. There is also an underground car park nearby but I don't know if it has an agreement.

Modern structure in a very quiet street, two minutes from metro A. Room for 4 people with a divider between the double area and the children's area, furnished in a comfortable and rational way.
Minibar offered.
Continental breakfast, both sweet and savory, on par with higher hotel categories, it's a shame that the space for guests is a bit small. Nonetheless, the staff goes out of their way to lend a hand and keep the place clean and tidy.
All the staff, from reception to floor services, are friendly, polite and very helpful, without being intrusive.
We were able to leave our luggage at reception after checkout and they allowed us to use the lobby indefinitely even in the afternoon.
Price in line with expectations.

Highly recommended.

My reference to Rome has been for years, but time inexorably passes for everyone; also for this hotel which probably needs a refresh. Some services previously present are no longer offered (toiletries, disposable slippers, etc.) and the breakfast, although plentiful, seems to be declining in quality. I hope I'm wrong but you have the perception of a hotel in a declining phase. Price increase inversely proportional to services unfortunately... too bad! the staff, on the other hand, is always very professional and collaborative.

Nice hotel in a quiet side street. The proximity to the subway is a real advantage for being able to get around quickly. The staff is friendly and in a good mood.
The breakfast buffet is extensive and has something to suit every taste.

On the occasion of our wedding anniversary, my family and I went to Rome. We used the Re di Roma hotel as a base, based on the positive reviews. The strategic hotel due to its location (a stone's throw from the metro) offers friendly staff, clean rooms and a full-bodied, fresh continental breakfast and has restaurants nearby for every type of palate. We will definitely be back.

It's a 3 to 4 minute walk to metro and about 20 mins down town, you can buy 2/3/4 etc day tickets, price is very reasonable. The colosseum isn't actually on a metro line! Bit before modern transport, so you'll either have to walk from closest or we took a bus tour from central station which stops at Colosseum, Rome is surprisingly small and walking to various sites very easy. We took a taxi back from the Pantheon one evening and I think it cost about 15 Euros which I thought very reasonable. In fact we found a Rome cheap compared with the rip off Spaniards. Our 9 year old daughter was looking for something to buy in the summer whilst in Spain, even she said she wasn't paying 10E for a small purse with a flamenco dancer on it! Same purse made in exactly the same place- China! With the Colosseum on it- 3.90E !!!!! Guess where we won't be going again! Hope this helps, gave nice time. Andrew

Hello, the hotel did not transfer us from the hotel, we used the public transportation. It is way easy to get the bus and then take the subway train until Re di Roma. You take the bus until the last station and then you have direct subway route to Re di Roma.
