We enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The continental breakfast was good. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They gave us an early check-in. We had to leave for a tour prior to them opening for breakfast, but they allowed us to take “breakfast on the go.” We appreciated this accommodation.

Hotel's Favourite
I love this hotel! I booked it because it was near Termini, but I will definitely return for the experience. It is SO clean, modern, and looks brand-new. All-white floors and walls in the hall make it very bright. I stayed one night in the smallest room and loved it. I stayed in a large room the second night (I booked them separately and it was the last room available) which had a GREAT view of the gorgeous Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore and would be great for a couple, but the small room had been perfect for me, too. Bathroom is spotless, there is tea and coffee available in the breakfast room all day, the staff is helpful and friendly, and the breakfast has a great selection of options. Bed is very comfy. I absolutely loved my stay here, and it was by far the best hotel I'd stayed in in Italy. Walking distance to all major attractions, though some are a mile or more. I didn't mind this, and I also took the metro (so convenient and quite clean) to get to Vatican City (for the secret bakery mmm). I took a night tour and the female guide did tell me to be careful around the hotel at night because it's the only area in Rome she feels a bit way of at night as a solo woman (one time she was followed). I erred on the side of caution and took a taxi back at night both times I was out late. In the daytime, I felt very safe. And at night, once I was inside, I felt very secure. When I checked out, I thought I'd already paid online. I rang the bell at the desk to return my key card, but the staff member was helping another guest. I had to make my train so I left. The manager emailed me that I hadn't paid for my second night, and I double-checked and they were right! I felt so bad but they were very understanding that it was a complete oversight and sent me a form to pay over email. We got it squared away quickly. Cannot wait to come back to Princeps Boutique! LOVE this place!

Wonderful place! Great location on the Piazza Dell'Esquilno, with a view of Santa Maria Maggiore (a must see). The hotel is in a historic building on the fourth floor with elevator. Very well furnished and perfectly maintained. The staff are all kind, helpful and hospitable. Breakfast is very good with a large selection of sweet and savoury items. The hotel provides free coffee, tea, coco right after breakfast until late at night. Our room was large, with a corner location and gorgeous view on both sides of the city, comfortable bed and pillows, bathroom had everything including a good hair dryer, lots of towels, toilet paper etc. good size armoire, and place to unpack. Close to many historic locations, bust stops right next to the hotel, walking distance to the train station. We highly recommend this hotel and we will be back again.

What a fantastic hotel. It was perfectly positioned from the Termini - a 7 minute walk away and less than 15 mins away from the Colloseum . The rooms were immaculate with a great shower, coffee and tea making facilities and all the mod cons. Breakfast was great - self service with bacon, scrambled eggs, continental options, cereals and a machine available 24 hours a day serving Cappucinos, Hot Chocolates etc. They also put out pastries in the afternoon . The hotel is situated on the 4th floor with easy access via a lift. The reception staff were friendly and unobtrusive - which I really like. You really won't regret booking this fabulous hotel.

A great hotel, very centrally located, very friendly staff, with an attitude for providing a great service, very nice breakfast with a lot of options, rooms are modern and well equipped, not crowded and an intimate feeling. Highly recommended! Worth noting that the location is within a building where people live and the hotel is a full floor within that building. You won’t get a feeling of a regular hotel, so if a fancy lobby with more facilities is what you look for, this ain’t the hotel for you. For visiting Rome, starting your day with a good breakfast and in a central location, you can’t go wrong with Princeps!

location, service, breakfast. Everything was so good. Before staying, I read so many favorite reviews. But l clearly say , staying had been just beyond expectations. 다시 로마를 방문하면 이호텔에 머물겠습니다. 테르미니 중앙역, 콜로세움,베네치아광장. 모두 도보로. 갈수있고. 스페인광장,바티칸등도 쉽게버스로 갈수있습니다.

So glad we chose this hotel. It’s a tucked away on the 4th floor of a building which we liked - very low profile. Breakfast is included with cold cuts, all types of bread, scrambled eggs and bacon. Like another reviewer said, there is a coffee machine that is available to guests all day - it serves espressos, capuccinos, hot chocolate and lattes. The rooms are clean (mostly). Just a little dusty in some parts but otherwise a comfortable stay. We felt safe and well rested in this hotel. Only issue is the TV… in one of the rooms we stayed in, they only had news channels. In another room that we stayed in, no news channels. Thank you to the staff who took care of us during our stay.

We loved the LOCATION! Our junior suite had a gorgeous full view of Santa Maria Maggiore. The hotel is located directly on the plaza and when the bells toll it's heavenly! You can see the Termini station and walk 3 blocks to get there or 5-6 blocks the other direction to the Colosseo. Wonderful restaurants with sidewalk cafes all around the hotel. VERY FRIENDLY and HELPFUL staff who all spoke English with us and VERY CLEAN with GREAT BEDS.

Small, comfortable B&B, centrally located, about a 10 minute walk from the main train station. Friendly, efficient staff, good breakfasts, clean comfortable rooms. There is no on-street entrance, the guest rings a buzzer to be let in and then takes an elevator to the small lobby.

Stayed here for 3 nights while traveling to Italy. We stayed in 3 different hotels while visiting and this one was the best! It was in a great and convenient location. Hotel is on the 4th floor of this building. There is an elevator if needed. If you arrive at night it could be a little hard to find because there is not a big sign. Rooms were not huge but spacious enough for 2 people. We had a great view of the church and square from out window. Very clean and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic with many options to choose from. I am gluten free and they provided great items for my dietary needs. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Rome.
