This room was so well located. The Pantheon is literally a few steps away. It is run by The Abruzzi Hotel but is in a separate building. This means you have a key to the street door as well as your room key and can...More
Like all the other reviews, I agree this hotel is located perfectly. Unfortunatly our encounters with staff members was far from perfect. We had a problem checking in, and in the commotion I forgot my pin number of my credit card. The receptionist actually called...More
Just 30 meters from Pantheon. Check in at Hotel Abruzzi (20 meters). Nice place, modern and clean rooms, but bad isolated to other rooms. Breakfast at an restaurant on Piazza della Rotonda (50 meters away). Breakfast could have been better.

Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural
storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
