I spent 3 nights here for a business trip and everything went flawless. The hotel is right next to Termini station, a very convenient location literally minutes from every relevant site around the city center. Spotless modern facilities, quiet and spacious rooms with great views, nice terrace on the 5th floor and above all very hospitable, friendly and helpful staff — shout-out to Samantha for making my early mornings particularly enjoyable and accommodating my every request! I would definitely stay here again :)

The location of the hotel was conveniently located by the termini station which allowed quick taxi access as well with the taxi line across the street.

Service was great, I wish I wrote all their names down. Breakfast however is the reason for the loss of one star. We had to ask multiple times to have cheese or meat brought out for the omelette station, they didn’t replenish things as they were empty, it was just chaos. I don’t think the breakfast was worth it. There are no irons or ironing boards in the rooms, instead you must take your items to the iron room where they don’t have hangers to hang your items or a place to set them, so that’s an inconvenience.

Other than that, all was well. We eventually upgraded our room to a suite and we were not disappointed by the room size.

Modernized, comfy room, including my fave: no wall to wall carpet. Old fashioned hotels take notice: no carpeting in hotel rooms is FAB! Decent Wifi, low noise, super insulated windows, good tv programming.
My only negative about this hotel would be the OVERWHELMING incense/perfume blast in the lobby, that reaches all public areas. I don't know what stink they chose but hey NH; LESS is better! It is like walking into a duty free shop and over sniffing scent choices. It gives you a headache. Burns your nostrils. Tame it down NH, and thank you. The location is immediately adjacent to the train station. Not the best location, but of course that depends how much you like the perfume blast and what your plans are. Enjoy!

I have just returned from the most amazing trip to the beautiful city, from the moment we arrived at the hotel nothing was too much trouble. We were promptly checked in and the reception staff explained where we were in regards to the location and how we could get around according to the sights we planned to see. When we got to the room we requested extra pillows and coat hangers which were brought immediately, there were a few things missing shower caps, mini bar prices and coffee pods but after we asked they were also brought up to the room without any hassle, I even asked for an ice bucket for some champagne which was brought to us. On our first morning at breakfast the lovely girl from guest services Cynthia introduced herself and offered advice and info on where to go etc. We really appreciated this and were so greatful for the personal touch. All staff were friendly and approachable even the doorman. The room was spotless and towels changed every day. The breakfast for us was included and delicious with so much selection. We enjoyed the fact they even had prosecco not that I would normally drink wine with breakfast but was such a treat! The location of the hotel was perfect for us and we were able to navigate with no problems it was especially easy on returning to the airport this morning. Although there are lots of homeless people sleeping near the train station we were able to walk around the streets at night without feeling too intimidated. I would definitely recommend this hotel and we have even talked about bringing the kids back here next time. Thank you Cynthia,Marta and team for an unforgettable stay ❤️

We originally made a reservation at another NH Collection hotel in Rome but it hadn't reopened yet. I'm very glad we were moved to the Palazzo Cinquecento instead.

The hotel is in a very grand building facing the square in front of Termini station, so it's ideally located for getting around Rome. The Leonardo Express train (when it's running again) will bring you right there from the airport.

The staff were very welcoming and our room was elegant and practical, I always appreciate having a walk-in shower rather than a bath. Although the breakfast buffet was a bit awkward due to the current situation there was a selection of breads and pastries, cheeses and cold meats and all the other things you'd expect for a continental breakfast. There was also bacon and scrambled egg but we didn't feel the need.

The staff recommended a very good restaurant nearby for our first night and the barman made an excellent negroni. There are lots of restaurants, bars and cafes in the neighbourhood.

Room Tip: Rooms on the piazza side have a view of the ruins just outside, but also of the bus station.

I recently stayed this hotel for a trip with my family. It was a bit of a splurge for me, but not too expensive, when I stayed I realized how good the value was. I do recommend booking earlier as the nightly rate goes up the sooner your trip is. Don’t wait until the last minute. This hotel is very well located right next to Rome’s Termini train station, so if you are traveling around Italy or planning to arrive or depart from the airport it’s very convenient. The neighborhood is very nice considering it’s proximity to the station. The building is beautiful. The lobby and bar areas are very inviting and well decorated. I enjoyed a night cap or cocktail before heading out for the evening. The staff was so nice! The doormen who usually coordinate taxis are all so kind and helpful. The breakfast buffet is a little pricey, but delicious. I loved my room. It was a corner room with a very large bathroom that felt very luxurious. I loved the bathrobes and slippers. Nice touch! I had a huge king sized bed, and everything looked new, clean and up to date. Very comfortable - great air conditioning. It’s so hot in August. The mini fridge, coffee maker, tea kettle are very nice touches and very convenient. The house keeping staff did and excellent job. Unlike some hotels which save money by not cleaning your room everyday and having less staff, here they clean your room everyday and provide fresh towels and cleaning unless you put a do not disturb sign on your door. Loved it. It’s so nice to come home to the hotel and find everything as fresh as the day you first arrived. This location is not so central to the historic center of they city but it’s close enough. Taxis will change from $8-15 Euros from the hotel to the historic center or across the Tiber River to Trastevere. The Palazzo Massimo / National Roman Museum and the Baths of Diocletian are right across the street and excellent! All together I loved this hotel and my stay in Rome. I also saw that there were many NH collection hotels throughout the city, so if you want to stay in another area I recommend the NH chain. I also stayed at the NH Collection President in Milan and it was also very nice and well located.

From the booking process to everything else about this hotel was slick, professional and well run. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room we had was superb.
The location is really good, right next to Roma Termini so transport was easy yet you never had the feeling you were next to a major railway station. Will stay here agin if I return to Roma

The minute I engaged with the woman at check in, I felt as though she thought I was inferior to the hotel. She was rude, arrogant, and did not smile a single time. We had to ask twice to have a full set of towels (there was one set of towels and we were a party of two) then we realised the room did not have a single toiletry in it. The mini bar selection was laughable, and there was a bag of chips sitting by the coffee machine. I assume that was the snack selection. I have stayed at the NH in Porto and it was a fabulous experience. This NH is more expensive and significantly inferior to Porto.

This was my fourth time staying in the area, and I chose to go a little bit more upscale than my previous stays in the termini station. Location is great, the hotel however is not as luxurious as it is grand outside. Our room was a good size, and we had a terrace, but unfortunately the terrace does not have a view. The bathroom was huge but hod zero shelf space, so you had to put all your stuff for the shower on the floor. There was no iron in the room but you were directed to the first floor to go iron your clothes. The rooftop bar was closed due to weather conditions (it was 80 degrees and not a wind in the area). The air conditioning worked extremely well for Italy, and the hot water in the shower was the best we had in our stay. However I didnt feel like the price

Hotel itself was impeccable situated right next to the Roma Termini train station, metro, buses & airport shuttle right nearby. Property is huge, clean and awesomely designed throughout. Rooms are sumptuous , equipped with modern amenities and comfortable beds. Our receptionist Marcella was super helpful, thank you so much for making our visit enjoyable. Breakfast is not free as stated on the website, they charge you 20 euro if reserved and 25 for walk ins, but it has a nice variety and the setting is very cozy. Hotel services however aren’t exactly 5 stars, bell boy is not always around, checking in and out can take time. Also bathrobes and slippers were not provided, we had to call housekeeping to get it twice!? My husband’s access card was suddenly disabled in the middle of our stay so he even couldn’t ride the elevator. All these little issues created some nuisance but otherwise we enjoyed our stay.
