We ended up staying at this little hotel, because the hotel we had booked for three nights, situated next door had lost its power when we arrived. We were pleasantly surprised to be taken up to a clean, fresh and modern room, with all the amenities you could possibly need. Breakfast was also very good and fresh. I never write... More

I'm from Rome, but for over 25yrs I lived overseas. I have been suggested this newly opened hotel by a colleague that frequently travels to Rome. I would like to thank both Francesco and Luca for the incredible experience they gave me: the hotel is situated in the heart of Rome, walking distance from the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain... We stayed here in June 2014 and November 2015. The location is excellent for sights, restaurants, shopping, etc. The quality of the hotel and location offer great value. Staff is very helpful offering great restaurant recommendations, giving guidance on how to get around, and suggesting walking routes based on scenic areas or the fastest way to get where you want... Stayed here end of November 2015 -group of 3 friends. This was my second time at Daphne Inn Veneto. Everything was great. Very clean, quiet street, great location. The breakfast is Italian style (you won't find, for example, fresh vegetables). Just around the corner is Piazza Barberini, a very short walk to Fontana di Trevi or to the Spanish steps.... More

Stayed here in April 2014. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Stayed in a twin room with my nan. Lovely and clean, beds were comfortable, friendly and helpful staff, lovely breakfast, a working (yet old/authentic) lift which was helpful for my nan, good airport transfer, good location to buses, restaurants and main sights. If I stayed again I would certainly get the... More

The location was convenient to major sites and great restaurants. The staff was very helpful and booked dinners at several great local restaurants. Rooms were nice, clean. The breakfast was very good too with some special additions each day to the basics and delicious cappuccino! I highly recommend it!

We are SO glad we chose to holiday at the Daphne. This was one of the best hotel stays anywhere, at any price. The owners made it special. I felt like they were our private concierge just doing everything possible to insure we had a great time. Checking in included sitting down and sharing our plans and hopes for what... More

The Daphne was recommended to us by crooners who stayed here previously, they couldn't praise the staff or the hotel highly enough. Can't thank them enough for recommending the Daphne. The position of the hotel is fantastic, within walking distance of a Metro station and many of the sites. Gianni was helpful from the moment we enquires about booking here... More

The staff are exceptional: approachable, knowledgeable, hard-working, and speak perfect English. The rooms are clean and well stocked. The beds are wonderfully comfortable. The hotel itself is well located, quiet, and safe. There is a computer available in the common area for guests' use, which is thoughtful. The lift is very small but expected in an old European building. If... More

My wife and I stayed at this hotel / B&B for 4 nights in September 2015. The hotel is in a wonderful position for exploring Rome on foot... Everything is within walking distance. Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
