We are driving to Greece and stayed in Ancona to get the ferry across. We booked seeport because of the reviews and were not disappointed. We stayed in a suite - 401 which was right next to a gorgeous terrace and bar/ restaurant and we had a lovely time unwinding after a very long drive. The staff were absolutely amazing. Friendly, professional and helpful. They booked us a lovely restaurant nearby - Le Degousteria. The room was so comfortable, with a lovely bed and the breakfast was exceptional- the cheese omelette was probably the best we’d ever tasted.
What was so amazing was we could watch the ferry arrive, get our tickets ( and a picnic from the excellent supermarket for the ferry so we could stay in our cabin) then return to the hotel until embarkation. So much more relaxing than hanging around in the heat. We will return!

Quite a glamorous hotel. Some chocolates on the pillow on arrival. Super clean and spacious with a fabulous rooftop view of the port. Very friendly staff. Wonderful breakfast too. Very convenient if taking the ferry to Greece. Parking is secure and a member of staff supervises the cars. My only niggle is the evening meals at the pretentious gourmet restaurant on the roof. If you choose to eat there, the portions are minuscule, it’s over priced and just not tasty. But this would not put me off staying at this fantastic hotel when stopping over in Ancona.

We chose this hotel because of its location close to train station, old town, and port. Everything can easily be reached by foot. It was great to indulge into the port atmosphere and the views from this hotel are fantastic for that.
Upon arrival we got a very friendly welcome and were told of our room upgrade to the "suite". A great large room on top of the building with an amazing view. We liked the interior, everything is done with lots of taste.
We decided to eat there as well at the bistro (see separate review), and breakfast was served at the "Ginevra" restaurant on top of the building. A great buffet with a large selection of quality products.
The best came on our departure day, when I even received a gift for my 50th birthday that day. A good bottle of wine made from a local variety of grapes. That was really exceptional and a nice surprise, thanks a lot!!!

Looking at a map you get the impression that SeePort is just by the harbour and city centre. Well it is located up many steep steps in front of a noisy industrial harbour. Going to nearest bar/restaurant will requiere quite some effort. Location is the main problem of SeePort, but noise is also a huge issue. With the ships and big machinery in the harbour you cannot sleep with your windows open. Rooms are quite small, beds are fine. It is possible to charge an electric car, but the price is 25 Euro per day!: Price for the hotel seems overrated at 160 Euro per night.

I've stayed at this hotel various times when passing through Ancona - I love the location across from the port and watching the hive of activity. The hotel is a few steps from the historical center. The staff is friendly and knowedgeable about the region and the restaurant is excellent. I also appreciate the small gym, which serves my needs when traveling. Always a pleasure to return to the SeePort.

This is a great hotel! Location, service, rooms, amenities are all top class! I missed out of trying the restaurant but the included breakfast was wonderful - including chef cooked breakfast dishes to order, many vegan choices, amazing coffee etc. the views are great, overlooking the harbor, city and surrounding landscape, a full 180 degrees. The rooms!!! From lighting, decor, comforts, great bathroom - AND all from YouTube and NetFlix on the TV. I loooove this hotel and I am so pleased that I stumbled upon it. Brw also free parking.

Great hotel to stay few days in Ancona. Style and comfort, spa facilities. Beautiful roof terrace overlooking the port and the old city. Very clean, comfortable rooms, charming decor. Relatively close to the central station but straight next to the main shopping street. Very friendly, helpful, really professional staff. They notices my tiredness at the check in and so they fast forwarded it to literally 5 minutes. Good breakfast. I would not advise dinner. Great selection of wines but the food… could be better. ( I must say however I only tried lasagna ) Very professional waiters. (There was a misunderstanding when ordering a drink- they changed the wine without any discussion 👏) So, all together - I would stay at Seeport again.

Afternoon, entering the yach suite. Internal spa and a wonderful panorama. First step: a prosecco and a bath in the hydromassage pool, in front of us the Ancona and the Cathedral on top of the hill. Then sauna, steam room, a massage in our room and then back to the prosecco and the hydromassage, with the new evening landscape ahead, lighting the dark. A fantastic dinner with local products and wines. In the morning an amazing breakfast (I loved the scrumbled eggs!). Kindness, full respect of covid rules, extreme cleaning, comfortable...beautiful. What else?

Beautiful modern hotel in the port area, some 5min walk to old Town of Ancona. Probably the highest ceilings of a hotel room one can imagine. Excellent bedding, one of the nicest beds I have stayed. Good breakfast with real coffee and an egg station.

Everything was very nice, from the booking and checking in to the check out.
Very friendly atmosphere and fairly quiet considering is in the middle of the city.
We highly recommend it. The staff at the reception was very helpful and friendly.

SeePort Hotel is 1 km far from Ancona Central Railway Station. Guests can both take a 15 minutes walk to the hotel or book the shuttle service (+39 071 9715100) or catch the 1/4 bus in front of the station alighting at the fourth stop 'Archi'.
You can take the train to Modena from the same station.
