Property located 20 minutes by car from the centre of Bologna. The hotel is a good compromise for a stopover not much more. For the price of the rooms I expected a bit more, instead it is really a transit/quick stop hotel. The rooms very (too?) simple, hotel internally and externally not too well maintained, breakfast really very disappointing. I honestly can't find any 4-star character.
I had a reservation made directly in this hotel. It was recommended by some friends. About 2 weeks before my planned stay, I was reached by Paolo from CDH Hotel Bologna front office, with the information that the central office management had decided to close the hotel for a few days, and that included the day of my reservation. Within 24hrs Paolo called me back after having found for me a better accommodation in a close by hotel at the exact same rate. This is what I call customer service! Thank you. I will for sure come back again to try your rooms!
We only stayed for one night and the experience was great. However the hotel was far away from the city center. We had to take the bus to go to the hotel from the airport but there was no direct bus and we walked like 1 km to reach the hotel but the hotel was great.
We stayed here for only one night and we chose it due to its proximity to the Airport & free parking. The hotel was clean, the room spacious and the check-in & check-out were quick and trouble-free. Reasonably good breakfast. On the other side, the hotel looks a bit dated and needs a refreshment in terms of interior design which is why we gave it 4 stars rating.
Not quite sure how this can be a 4 star hotel. Very tired look, the room was dated. The bathroom was awkward in it5s layout and felt dirty. No tea/coffee facilities, no iron facilities, got told this was due to health and safety. Breakfast not much choice. Restaurant is closed on a Friday and over a weekend. This was a pain as it was snowing and we didn't want to walk to the restaurants we were told were round the corner. The hotel said we could call in a pizza or walk over to McDonald's. Neither of which we really wanted. The staff member we spoke to was helpful. Definitely not a 4 star.
Simple business hotel not too far from the airport(10 min drive?). Nothing fancy, all the basics in place. Quite spacious room, bathroom was less so. If you need just to sleep and move on, it’s a good option.
The hotel was well placed and had good facilities. The rooms were clean and a good size the bed comfortable, and the breakfast which was included in the price was also very good. The reception staff were very friendly and efficient and spoke perfect English. I would recommend staying here.
This hotel was a perfect base for a city base: the room was clean and tidy and also quite large. The bathroom has a large walk in shower and toiletries are provided. The bed is very comfortable. There is a hairdryer too. The 19 bus to city centre takes 20mins and costs €1.50 - it literally goes from a stop 2 mins away along a good path. Buses are very easy to use, cheap and on time. The 19 bus is very frequent. The hotel can also call you a cab. Breakfast at the hotel was excellent: tea, coffee, fresh juice, toast, hot eggs and sausages pancakes and many many cakes and pastries. Next to the hotel is a McDonald's which is useful.
Reasonably priced hotel about 5 kilometres away from the centre of town close to the airport and Autostrada. Good hotel for the night you arrive in Italy or the night you leave. I would class this as a budget hotel with clean and spacious rooms located on the outskirts of town. Later at night there is a problem of prostitution in the area as you will see girls standing alone on the street corners. I would not personally recommend this hotel for single female travelers.
Best overall hotel we’ve ever been, hundreds. Fantastic position, few minutes from the motorway, copious free safe parking spaces. Perfectly decorated adequately-sized room. Spacious bathroom one of the largest walk-in showers (no useless bathtub-shower in sight). Spotlessly clean tiled floor. Really good memory foam bed with choice of firm & soft pillows (nice touch); we only encountered such luxury at the Excelsior of Rapallo which cost us four times as much (admittedly it had a beautiful view of the sea and all that can be seen from The One’s window is rooftops and a few distant hills), all else is comparable. Breakfast very decent & unpretentious, we will definitely come back. Price (€72) one night stay for two including breakfast, exceptionally good value considering we have paid up to €20 each for a similar breakfast (The Penz hotel, Innsbruck). …
