The Hotel seemed strange in layout, almost didnt feel like a hotel, but was a really comfortable space(though too small room) and the staff were really helpful and courteous. Loved the location, very close o the main area and also have loads of options for food just along the pathway, as no food is available at the hotel.

it's a great location, and the room is a good size. but iwe could hear people in the hallway as well as our neighbor watching tv. the wifi worked, but wasn't the strongest. it might be worth asking for the quietest room. the people were very helpful and we have an enjoyable stay regardless.

Location may not seem perfect but actually it is. Hotel is only 10 min walk from Piazza Maggiore, heart of the city and only 3 min walk from via giuseppe petroni where all night life is going on. Owners are very nice and helpful. There is a great restorant (osteria) very close to the hotel, one of the best in...

The location of the hotel looks a little bit suspicious, but actually it's really good. It's just outside city center, about 10 minutes walk. There are various bus stops near the hotel. The staff is very helpfull. It's a lovely family who runs it. The room is clean and the shower is great. There are some lovely restaurants nearby. The...

A family-owned hotel which deserves two or three stars not one. We were welcomed by the owner and his wife who clearly take pride in keeping their establishment pristine. On a main street near the two towers this great little hotel was easy to find and offers great value for money. We stayed in a tiled ground floor room (tiles...

When we arrived at the Albergo San Vitale (having twice got lost going around the ring road) we wondered what we had done but not to worry everything was just perfect. There is no nearby parking as such and hardly any on the road outside the hotel but the owner has a parking space in a nearby garage for 9...

We use this albergo when we go to the Fair (the hotel will call a taxi & within 10 minutes you're on your way). It's clean, convenient & very reasonably priced. Breakfast in the cafe close by is great, with a good choice of pastries & great coffee of course. Good restaurants all within walking distance. The rooms are pretty...

We stayed in Bologna for just one night and had a good experience here. The location was perfect, close to great restaurants & bakeries that we took advantage of, and within walking distance of the center of town. There is a gorgeous garden out back and for dinner we got takeout at a restaurant they recommended (Pizzaria Spacca Napoli) and...

Our room, by request, overlooked the garden, and the window is floor to ceiling. the garden is so beautiful, with wisteria (in bloom). There are tables (2) so you can sit out there, and we ate some meals out there (cold meals). The room itself is not too big, and simple, but it was fine with us. Some of you...

“If you are travelling by train to Bologna - this is the ideal place to stay. It is about 15-20 minutes walk from the station or a cheap(ish) taxi ride although some buses do stiop very close to the hotel. Ask for a room overlooking the garden!!”
