I recommend to book a room here because it is very clean, modern, comfortable, cosy place. Located near Central train station, city center, near MAMbo museum which worth to visit too. Very good communication with friendly host. Coffee machine inside the room. Very good stay! Thank you Giovanni!
Great location to Central Station as its only a minutes walk. Its quite & safe neighbourhood for a good sleep and comfort. About half an hour walk to the centre of town but there are loads of buses if walking isn't your thing. I would stay again if im ever back in town.
Comfortable, clean!, well designed apartment room with bathroom. Located near railway station and possible to walk around and to city center, near Modigliani museum (MAMbo:). Very nice host and helpful. We were happy to stay there and recommend you to book when visit Bologna.
The staff is friendly. This b&b is well located, it is close to the train station and, at the same time, in a quiet and safe area. It is clean and it is ideal for short visit. This b&b is on the third floor of a building where professionals or private people live.
Really short walk from the train station; allowed us to use Bologna as a base for daily train trips to Ravenna, Mantua, Verona,.... without having to change hotels every day, and without having to pay high hotel prices; excellent value for the money. We also found reasonably priced good restaurants around the area. Giovanni, the owner, was very hospitable and welcoming. PS Excellent air conditioning in the room :)
I stayed twice at Bed and Breakfast Centrale. The location is a mere 3-5 minutes’ walk from Napoli Centrale. There are a number of trattorias and mercatoa nearby if you need to feed your hunger. The owner - Giovanni - greeted us at the door and offered to store our luggage as he was still in the process of cleaning our room. Yes, he is hands-on and genuinely happy to welcome guests. We had a triple bed-equipped room, and had enough space to spread our belongings out. A fridge is provided, as is coffee and tea. The air conditioning is cold, and the key system for getting into the building and rooms is logical. The two towers of Bologna are about a 20-minute walk away, and lots of shopping can be passed along the way. Communication was open; he messaged us a few weeks before our arrival to ensure he was present for our early check-in, and also suggested various restaurants and activities we may have wished to partake. We hope to return as soon as possible. Thanks, Giovanni.…
The room was very clean and comfortable. It’s located in a quiet and convenient area - very close to the train station and a walking distance to the city centre. Thanks Giovani for the warm hospitality!
Giovanni was incredibly helpful and upheld Covid safety precautions. He’s incredibly responsive and a gracious host. The room was spotless, the bed comfortable, and the location is fantastic. It’s nice to be both close to the train station and removed enough from the center to avoid crowds. Would highly recommend!
I only spent one night here but can say it is immaculately clean, really close to the train station, and is run by a very nice and informative owner. Giovy almost cried too watching my sister and I meet for the first time in almost 5 years (we just happened to be vacationing in Italy at the same time). Easy walk to historic areas, and he gave us some great suggestions of things to see that we had not seen on prior visits. He is extremely responsive and helpful.
We had an excellent stay at Giovy's little B&B. The location is excellent; very close to the train station, but not very noisy. The room was comfortable and very clean. There is an elevator! Most importantly, Giovy was an excellent communicator. Even before we arrived, he started a WhatsApp conversation with me and gave us explicit (and needed!) instructions on how to find the place. At one point my sister inquired about booking a room as the same night as us, but her email message went into her spam and she didn't find it. Giovy messaged me, and I contacted my sister, and it all worked out. On our last day Giovy ordered a taxi for us because I couldn't actually place a call on my phone. (Need to fix that next time; just data was not ALWAYS enough.) When the taxi ended up arriving at 4:40 am rather than 4:25 am, the taxi driver called Giovy to say he was running late. Giovy graciously messaged me, and did not complain about being woken at an ungodly hour. If we make it back to Bologna, we will definitely stay here again.…
