Room was small, but clean and functional. Good shower. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is decent. Good location, very central and near to lots of restaurants and all the sites. Also walking distance from the train station (around 20 mins). If you're looking for somewhere good value that's basic but decent to sleep while you go and explore the city, I would recommend. Only caveat is that I had the room next to the lift, which is quite noisy and clanky, so I would ask for a room that isn't next to the lift.
I do not like to bring down a company, but... I am sorry: this should not be a 3 star hotel. I give the benefit of the doubts and maybe I got the worst room in the entire structure, but... come on guys!! I had to spend only one night as I had to fly from Bologna, otherwise I would have asked to leave. Already the common areas are not great. I am not making it up: I attach the picture relative to the lights in the corridors. when were these cleaned last time? The room... the heating system was set to BBQ mode I guess. Luckily you can turn it off and the window can be opened. Dust everywhere (again: I posted the pictures of the side table, the inside of the cabinet, the safe). The wall paper is literally falling apart. The bathroom: badly maintained (see picture of the toilet and the shower). I had honestly no time to find a different hotel and ruin the last afternoon of my long weekend with my wife, so I digested the disappointment and I left the morning after. The breakfast… please check the cabinet and the appliances… seriously: you serve food in there! Strange: nobody asked at the check-out "how was your stay?"... Now my question is: given the photo I am posting, how can the reviews on TripAdvisor be justified? I will stay away from this structure with no doubts in the future.…
This hotel lived up to its name: it's central to all the wonderful places in Bologna. There's a large selection of food for their breakfast buffet, and it's wonderful to see that they have done their best to separate the tables for social distancing. The location was perfect for walking to restaurants and shops. The 1-person shower stall may not be as comfortable for larger people.
The hotel was within walking distance location from the train station and also the main sites; it is not far from a major street with lots of shops and things to do; it is also not far from the college area where you can eat and drink for cheap; the hotel itself is low thrills with small European rooms, but are clean.
Hotel is located about 15 minute walk from Bologna Centrale, and close to Piazza Maggiore. Breakfast is provided with a decent spread. Maybe it was the room I was located in (near to the reception and breakfast area) so noise from those areas can be heard early in the morning. Surrounding area got a bit noisy at night (bar nearby) but did die down, so shouldn't be a problem unless you want to sleep before 11pm. Good hotel for its price point.
Loved staying here. Everything in the centre of Bologna was within walking distance. Room was perfect - went with 2 friends - spacious, aircon, private bathroom, breakfast included. Not modern but well maintained and immaculately clean. Perfect for us in every way.
We stayed in the family apartment across the small road from the main hotel building. It accommodated the four of us, two adults and two children very nicely. Everything was clean on our arrival and the whole room was perfect for us. The staff were very polite and extremely helpful, answering any questions or concerns we had. The location is just amazing. So centrally located that nothing is very far away to walk to and from. We really felt like we were breathing the city at this location. The breakfast was perfect for a quick bite before heading out for the morning. All great quality and lovely coffee! All in all, this hotel is perfect on all levels and I would really recommend anyone should stay here. You won't regret it. We hope to return soon! Ciao.
This is a great small hotel centrally located in Bologna. We stayed for a week in April 22 with friends. The staff are superb, helpful, and knowledgable about what’s on offer in the city and beyond. They even booked restaurants for us. A tip would be to book junior suites if they are available. We did and they are bigger than other rooms. The hotel is on a small side street above shops but it quiet at night and we all slept well. Bologna itself makes an excellent city break with superb rail links to towns in the surrounding area.
The lady at check in was very helpful and gave us good recommendations for local restaurants. We stayed in an apartment which was big and comfortable. Location is perfect, less than 10 mins walk to the main square and walking distance to the train station and airport bus. Would definitely stay again. There is hand sanitiser at all the entrances and the room felt clean.
We received a very warm and friendly welcome from reception upon our arrival. A cup of coffee was much appreciated whilst our double room was being made available to us. The compact room was comfortably furnished with all the fittings one would expect of a family run 3 star hotel. The bathroom was clean and functional, the shower worked well and the complimentary toiletries were much appreciated. The small breakfast room provided a varied selection of options for continental breakfast incl cereals, rolls, cakes, etc together with coffee/tea and fruit juices. This hotel is centrally placed and within walking distance of the main square and other major sights. The main railway station is a 15minute walk away. We would stay here again on a future visit to the city.
