A great little hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. On arrival we were given a map and told which places a tourist really needed to visit. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good and plentiful. The staff were always on hand to answer anything and always with a smile. Highly recommended
I am generally satisfied with the hotel, the proximity to the center, the staff at the reception, the breakfast, the room is ok, typical for a hotel in the old center... but one thing disappointed me and I doubt that I will ever return and recommend the same hotel to someone. I forgot my new raincoat in the closet, I called in the evening that it was left in room 250, the kind woman at the reception told me that she didn't have a note that something was left. it wasn't even 12 hours after I left the hotel that I called, I'm really disappointed
This was my second stay at the hotel, which is ideally located for the Teatro Comunale. Everything was fine, with a special mention for the breakfast which was really the 'rich and varied selection' which all hotels claim to offer but often don't. The only problem, and it's not the hotel's fault, is noise. I heard other, very loud, guests returning to their rooms after midnight, and the noise from the street went on into the wee hours. I was on the second floor and was still disturbed by it, but it was a Saturday night so perhaps it's not so bad during the week. Next time I'll bring earplugs!
Everything was either average or above, apart from room which furniture and light inside was very depressive. Therefore, there is need for quick reaction from the owner as location, staff and service were really good
We stayed only one full night but the staff was very helpful with all our needs. They offer a wonderful breakfast in the morning and if you need a cab called they are quick to help. We would return for sure!
The rooms are good and everything works fine. It is well located near the university and the city center. The breakfast is also good, although the fruit could be more varied and of better quality. There is no lift (2 floors hotel).
We stayed for 3 nights and was surprised to find that the hotel exceeded our expectations. Very clean environment and good breakfast, but most of all amazing staff. They went out of their way to ensure we had a very good stay. Location is also very good as it's only 5min walk away from the piazza, but away from the hustle and bustle. Thanks hotel accademia will definitely come back
We stayed for several nights and were made very welcome right from the start. Clean, simple room, with very comfortable bed and good bathroom. We rarely heard any other noise within the hotel, and the noise from the road outside (which goes on till very late) is easily eliminated by closing the shutters and windows - we slept really well. Breakfast is plentiful, with wonderful pastries, rolls, cheese, ham, toast, fruit etc, and good fresh coffee or tea. Position is brilliant - a short walk to the main square, restaurants all around and about 15 minutes' walk away from the railway station. Would definitely recommend.
The hotel was a good distance from the train station, perhaps within a 15 minute walk. The check in process was great, the receptionist allowed us into our rooms slightly early and we got to explore the city. The room were spacious and had some great views. The bathrooms were modern but we had a very small shower. There was no lift, so would advise against if you're elderly or disabled. There was unfortunately loafs of graffiti outside the hotel which didn't give us the best first impression, but thankfully didn't reflect the quality inside.
Was a great accommodation, almost wish we had another night. Driving was super tight but there was on site parking available. Staff was very friendly and even English speaking! We had a great corner suite with windows that opened fully to take in the atmosphere of the public below. Was quiet enough to sleep with with windows closed but lively when open. Walking distance to main attractions, restaurants and shopping. Clean room and washroom with good towels and bedding. There is no elevator so getting our luggage up to the second floor was a bit of a challenge, but was worth it and we definitely recommend this hotel.
