This is a hidden gem, great staff, super clean, welcoming and a short stroll to the Piazza Maggiore. Would highly recommend. Breakfast is great, quiet location off the beaten path. Wonderful stay, even for discerning millennials.
Such a lovely place. Stayed for 2 weeks this October. Perfectly located just a short walk to piazza maggiore. The staff were fabulously friendly and helpful especially Eugenio. We miss it so much. Highly recommend this charming hotel
We loved this hotel that’s situated off the beaten track in a quiet residential neighborhood. There are two fantastic restaurants steps from the front door on the same street as the hotel and local gelaterias and cafés within a short walking distance. It’s a 10 minute walk to the city centre and all the Bologna attractions. The rooms are updated, spacious and clean. There was a large breakfast buffet selection to choose from. The garden area on the property is lovely with spots to sit and enjoy quiet time and a drink.
What a hidden gem? Down a small street you find a very comfortable hotel. Exceptionally clean, staff very friendly and the rooms are very comfortable and well cared for. A little oasis in the city with beautiful gardens. Breakfast was lovely with endless coffee or tea. Also 20 min walk from centre and fantastic restaurants on same street as hotel, it’s perfect!
this hotel is not very close to city center. located at edge of old town with graffiti on all nearby alleys. stayed at room 107 very narrow staircase up. breakfast very minimum and staff very cold. with it's location and surroundings don't feel safe to have late dinner in city center then walk back. will not stay here again if in Bologna.
This hotel is great. It is close to central city and had great free breakfast. I highly recommend it. The place is in a quiet neighborhood, Room was clean and bed comfortable . Staff was very friendly and easy to deal with, Desk person called a cab to the train station.
Booked this Hotel after reading reviews on most hotels in Bologna. Not Disappointed ! The Hotel itself is finished to a High Standard. We stayed 3 Nights within the Hotel Main Building and after a Flight Cancellation when at Airport, were fortunate enough to Book a further 2no Nights and were given one of the adjoining apartments Room 401, which came with its own Private Enclosed patron & Garden Area. Highly Recommended. The Hotel offered a very nice Breakfast with fresh pastries and an array of Hot & Cold food & drinks, served in the Garden or Orangery All the staff were very Pleasant and helpful. The Location was approx 6min walk to the Piazza. It is possible to walk from the Hotel to the Bologna Football Stadium Portico (No 265) and The Church of San Luca Portico (No 666) Great accomplishment. There are 2no restaurants in the same street as the Hotel, both are Very Good. Search this Hotel out, from our experience you will not be disappointed.…
This is a wonderful little hotel tucked away at an edge of the lovely city of Bologna. As a family of 4 we were put in a really nice suite that had a separate bedroom, with space for our teenagers (real beds, not a pullout couch) in the main room. The bathroom was spacious, which was a big plus. The breakfast location had a charming outdoor patio area, which was welcome for us covid-cautious travelers. Another plus was the private garage (extra cost) for anyone with a car. Too bad we only had one night in Bologna!
A lovely hotel- we had a great sized room in a typical building for the old city. The breakfast was delightful in the garden, the staff were friendly and the hotel was in a reasonable position given we wanted car parking. Only a 10 minute walk into town. The only downsides was no lift, but the staff carried our (heavy ) bags up the stairs! Also the fittings in the rooms were a little shoddy and some were broken, but the room had a good feel overall so didn’t matter. I would recommend
Really liked this hotel. It is in the most beautiful area of the city, just a short walk from the center. The staff were super nice and helpful. Beautiful garden where you can eat breakfast. The only thing I didn’t like that much was the bed, mattress was too hard but my boyfriend liked it.
