The property itself wasn’t bad at all but the location clearly wasn’t the best. Now regarding the staff, everything went well the first night when we arrived, but we quickly noticed that the fact we didn’t speak proper Italian would be a problem. Indeed, the day we checked out, the receptionist that day didn’t help us one bit. She has been arrogant and kept speaking Italian, when spoke English aswell and pretty well, when we were paying even though she clearly noticed we couldn’t speak it. In my opinion, if you work in a hotel you MUST be able to speak English with the tourists. Now when we had the audacity to ask for her help to call a taxi for us, she gave us the card to call the taxi ourselves, when herself and others had called it for us themselves earlier in the stay. She clearly at that time didn’t want to help us and didn’t want to go out of the way to call a taxi. Good thing a kind man, also client from the hotel and also who was horrified by the service, helped us make the call otherwise I think we would still be there waiting for a cab. By the time we left, at least 4 persons were complaining about her poor service and awful costumer service skills. I would say it’s time to review the personnel. I will never stay at the location again due to the terrible consumer service and would not recommend the location to anyone.

Nothing like photos and trying to charge €440 per night when event is on, book early if you are working in the trade shows but expect low standards and working girls on the streets around, on plus side few nice restaurants and free parking, had to leave room number to borrow a spoon and got plastic cup of ice after air con didn’t work, local aldi sells insect repellent, bring flip flops to wear in shower

Stayed at this hotel twice, the first time the room was good and the second time the room on the mezzanine behind reception was better still. Downsides are that the aircon can only be turned on a few hours a day and you have to pay a couple of euros per day extra for wifi, though it does work well. The breakfast is fairly good, though there is a lot of cake/croissants. The coffee is very good. In the evening there is a reasonably priced restaurant, open 6 days a week. Staff were very helpful. The hotel is relatively close to the airport, it is as cheaper and much quicker to get a taxi from the airport to the hotel, rather than use the expensive airport bus. The hotel is about 1.5 miles from the city centre, you will need to get a 25 bus and get off at Casoni or Deposito Ferrarese, it runs every few minutes until quite late.

Ok, the good points about this hotel / location : its easy to find from the nearby motorway network and has free parking, ours was just outside the hotel. The hotel reception area is good and so is the breakfast area with plenty of choice and good quality. The room was very small and stuffy- we opened the window to be met by-deafening noise as the trains hurtled by. The air con did not work....the shower was the smallest ever and we are not big people. The walk into bologna is about 20 minutes. My wife felt nervous walking in as the area is covered in graffiti. Think this must be a cultural thing as most of it was very artistic. Would we stay again - no but that also goes for Bologna as its noisy, dirty and very busy.

We found easily the hotel and had luck to find a free place on the parking. The weather was hot, so the curtains were fully close. The electricity is turning on with a card. so during your stay the air-conditioner and the refrigerator are working, but when you are away, all is off, so no cooling. I don't know why, but after our return in the evening the air-conditioning system started to drip and all the night is dripping, it was very annoying. Besides this problem the room was comfortable, clean and nice. The breakfast was good, very tasty strong coffee, plenty of choice of home made sweetmeat/cakes. The hotel is not so far from the down town for people, who like to walk, so we didn't use the public transport. Maybe 30 min far....Bologna was wonderful, so one evening walk back to the hotel was good relaxing and cognitive experience. The staff on the reception was helpful and kind. overall satisfaction. Disliked · Bad luck - the air conditioner was dripping all night, annoying and making puddle of water on the floor. The card is switching on all electricity, but when you are away and the card is not in the nest - no charger, no air-conditioner, no refrigerator... The hotel is near to train rail.
