I originally planned to stay in Bologna for 2 weeks, but my travel partners decided that they did not want to stay in Bologna. So after they returned to the US, I rented the San Stefano Apartment studio for 2 nights. It was truly the nicest place I stayed in 3 weeks in Italy, and I wished I had stayed...

We stayed at B & B Santo Stefano for four nights and enjoyed every minute. The location was perfect - an easy walk to Piazza Maggiore, Asinelli's Tower and Basilica of Santo Stefano, but was away from the congestion of these places. There is an abundance of restaurants and shops close by. The service was second to none. We enjoyed...

Perfect location. Easy walk to centre to city. Close to excellent local restaurants. Beautiful quiet room at back of apartment, overlooking courtyard with fountain. Lovely atmosphere of peace and tranquility with the kind attention of owner and housekeeper. Excellent choice of buffet style breakfast, including fresh fruits. One of the best B&B experiences we've ever had. Highly recommended.

I found Santo Stefano on Trip Advisor and it was everything that I expected and more. Beautiful rooms, tasteful decor and a very convenient location. Breakfast was great. Our room was facing onto the street and surprisingly the noise was not an issue. We shall return

B&B Santo Stefano is not easy to find, but once you're there, the anscient front of the building discloses wonderful rooms in cosy italian style. We received a very warm welcome, rooms were very clean, wifi equipped, modern designed and cosy. Breakfast is above Italian B&B average with fresh fruits, cappuccinos, sandwiches, local cheeses, italian hams etc. The private parking...

My partner and I have just returned from staying in these beautiful apartments which are situated next door to the bed and breakfast. We found the address to be extremely easy to get to from the airport...costing about 20euro's. The security of the building is very comforting...initially a very heavy outside door...leading into the building with a locked gate inside....

This was my second time staying at the B&B, although I also have stayed in the apartments that Giovanni owns. All I can tell you is that B&B Santo Stefano is the best B&B I've stayed in anywhere. The rooms are good-sized, absolutely clean, and quiet even though they overlook the street. The breakfast is fresh and extensive, and they...

We stayed at the Santo Stefano apartment next door the B&B. We caught a taxi from the train station, which I recommend too far to walk taxi will cost about 10 euro. Giovanni had contacted me day before to arrange key pickup and that all went well. He showed us to a lovely apartment that was our home for three...

Lovely property in a classic building. Giovanni is a considerate host and the rooms are simple, modern yet elegant. Probably the best WIFI we've ever had in a B&B. Very convenient to Piazza Maggiore and restaurants. Take a cab from the station, but then you can walk everywhere.

Beautiful, modern rooms. Great, extensive breakfast. Very trendy field. Conveniently located. Bologna is a more expensive than compared to most of the rest of Italy, but the room price was very reasonable relative to what you get. This place is also home to the world's slowest elevator. Seriously, come prepared for small talk with the owner or 2 minutes of...
