Nice and cozy B&B, away from the heat and sun which can really become a nightmare in Bologna during the summer. Typical house located in the historical center of the city, 5mns walk away from all the best places to visit. Excellent breakfast served in the "chic" street of Bologna, where you will only be surrounded by Italians. Finally, the... More

We stayed at Elisabetta's place for 10 days last July and the apartment was as they say in French "Nickel"! There was a serious heath-wave all over Italy at that time and temperatures raised above 35° C almost daily. All rooms had however professional AC and it was like entering heaven when we came inside. We were provided with a... More

SPV is excellently located a mere stroll from the centre of Bologna. It is easy to find and has a handy parking garage virtually opposite, a real bonus in a town where parking can be a particular challenge. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well appointed. The bed was comfortable and we both slept well. Elisabetta - the owner -... More

Thats my second time at Elisabetta's B&B. Ive spent there one week. I did journey trip to Florence, venice, ravenna, ferrara and Milan from here, coming back the night. Bologna is in a very central position and at San Petronio Vecchio you feel at home! Thanks again to Elisabetta and see you next year! John

We loved Bologna and this B&B really gave us the feeling of 'living' in this overlooked Italian city- this was very much down to the voucher for breakfast at a quaint authentic Italian cafe. Elisabetta was very warm and welcoming and the room was everything we wanted. We'd stay here again in Bologna.

We stayed at this B&B for four nights in May 2014, and liked it very much. It is close to the centre of the city - only five minutes’ walk from the wonderful church complex of Santo Stefano - but quiet and peaceful. Elisabetta is charming and extremely helpful. The room was on the small side, but clean and nicely... More

You feel at home ! Elisabetta is a special host, she gives you lots of useful info and she cookes delicious brownies!

Elisabetta was very welcoming and helpful. We appreciated the help with dinner reservations and had a fabulous time in Bologna. The room was a little off the beaten path (still, everything was within a 5-10 minute walk), which was great for us to rest after the busyness of Rome.

Elisabetta is a wonderful host and makes your stay in Bologna so much better. The room we had was lovely and modern with a spacious bathroom (no view out of the window was the only downside). It is a very quiet place to stay with no traffic noise. We appreciated the coffee machine, fresh brownies and fruit in the room,... More

We travelled to Bologna from London with Easyjet and as well as the usual mid level hotels, booking.com also presented this option. Can't express how pleased we were with it. The b&b is located on the 1st floor of a building in a road just a few mins from santo stefano. The apartment was renovated about 1.5years ago and the... More
