My husband and I enjoyed Elisabetta's hospitality while visiting Bologna in September. The B&B is within the walls of the old city, located in the Santo Stefano area, with easy walkability to town center, restaurants, and shopping. Upon arrival, Elisabetta helped carry our bags up the stairs to her location on the first floor (2nd floor in the American way...

My wife and I enjoyed our two night stay in Elisabetta's B & B that is within walking distance of the center of town. She is extremely outgoing and friendly and we loved the fresh fruit provided each morning as well as the fantastic brownies that her mother brought form her home town. The apartment is very modern, in a...

I stayed in this B&B during the first weekend of October 2013. I had a very nice experience there. The B&B is in a central location and everything is within walking distance. Elisabetta was really kind and provided me with all important information about Bologna. The room was well equipped, comfortable, nice and very clean as well as the bathroom....

It was our first time to Bologna, so we wanted to really experience the culture there. There is not a better way to do this than to stay at someone's apartment near the centre of the city. That is essentially what the San Petronio Vecchio B&B is. It's Elisabetta's apartment where she rents out two beautiful rooms. The whole apartment...

My husband and I just stayed here for two nights in late September (2013). The cozy room was clean and had a nice modern decor. It was stocked with a hot water pot for tea, a Keurig coffee maker, and a mini fridge with items for purchase. There were also complimentary snacks and fresh fruit on the table for our...

My boyfriend and I stayed there for 5 days. It's a perfect place because it's in the city center (only 10 min on foot from Piazza Maggiore), really clean and people are really kind. There is a mini bar in the room, a big bathroom, tv, wifi. It's really good.

Being new to Bologna we fell in love with the amazing porticos as soon as we saw them and were so glad they were there as we pulled our luggage from the train station in 34 degree heat. Delightful then to discover our B&B was in one of these fabulous old buildings. Elisabetta welcomed us and gave instructions on how...

Great place. My friend and I each rented a double room. We had two sets of keys, so could come and go as we pleased. Elisabetta was a fantastic host and had thought of everything we could possibly need. We cannot recommend this place enough! Dan & Bo

Really enjoyed our 2 night stay at this warm and welcoming B&B. The rooms are modern, well-decorated, functional and clean - the bed was the most comfortable we had during our whole 10 day trip to Italy! The owner is friendly, very helpful and accommodating. Gave us great suggestions on places to go, eat, etc. And... She left us a...

San Petronio Vecchio is perfect on all fronts. The location is great; close to the center of the city but far enough away that the crowds aren't outside your bedroom window. The rooms are comfortable, clean, good sized, have access to WiFi and stocked with all the essentials (just in case you forget your hair dryer or run out of...
