I have booked one night at this property in Bologna two months in advance. On the day of our arrival the owner confirmed that he would wait until 20:30 to give us the key. When we arrived in front of the building we called him and he said that actually, the room was overbooked and he gave the room to someone else... We had to find another hotel in Bologna that evening! I do not recommend this place!

When you take the airport bus to Bologna Centrale (Bologna Central Station) or come there by train you will easily find your way to Panoramic Suite. Cross Viale Pietro Pietramellara, the street in front of the station, follow it to the left, look for an old town gate on the right at Piazza XX Settembre and pass through. Go straight ahead over the square and you will find Via Galliera. Follow the street three blocks until it opens up on the left to a square with quite a few trees. You will now be standing at the end of Via San Giuseppe, where Panoramic Suite is located at number 5C, about 10 meters to the left. This walk is 750 meters long and would take just under ten minutes. To get in you need to call the owner who is living nearby. The rooms at Panoramic Suite on the sixth floor have a lovely view over the roof tops. They are at least 18-20 m2 and are bright and nicely decorated in light colours. You will find bed tables with reading lights, comfortable beds for a good night’s sleep, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers. There was no writing table in my room but as I was travelling with my sister I used hers. The WI-FI was working very well. I didn’t like that the same key fitted to both our inner doors but on the other hand there was a safety door between the landing at the lift and the corridor by the rooms. The bath room was spacious with toilet, bide, shower cabin, basin, good quality towels and was brightly lit. The Italian breakfast provided at a nearby café consisted of coffee and one brioche. We wanted something more substantial so we went to the little bakery at the start of Via San Giuseppe and bought some extras, bread and yoghurt. The location of Panoramic Suites in the centre of Bologna, not too far from the station, is ideal and the rooms are beautiful so I do recommend you to stay here.

This b and b is located between the station and the centre of Bologna. Walking is comfortable. The room is clean and very nice. The view is wonderfull. A bit noisy at night, but we expected this because of the locTion in the centre. The breakfast was poor. We got a voucher to go to a bar, and only recieved one brioche and one cup of tea! We saw fresh fruit, juce a.s.o., but that was not included.

It was a little difficult to find, but once there it was a nice place. Good value for money in Bologna. Short walk to the cafe which served breakfast. Possible to have the breakfast outdoor, especially nice during weekends and holidays when the street next to it was closed for traffic. Room was ok, nice little veranda, good wifi and a nice out door terrace on the roof top.

We stayed in the Panoramic Suite for the w/c 19th January 2015. The room is large with a double bed at either end and a dining table and four chairs and a small fridge in the middle. There are two shower rooms and access to the large, decked, roof terrace above. The suite has a balcony and the views south are amongst the best in town. The great advantages of this suite are as follows. It is set back about 100 yards from a colonnaded main street so it is quiet. It is mid-way between the station and the main square either of which is a ten minute walk. However, Bologna is a main intersection for Tran Italia and during our week we went to Florence and Venice for the day on the high speed trains which are frequent. Also we went on the regional trains to Parma, Modena and Ragusa as well as enjoying the beauty of Bologna. The airport bus runs to/from the rail station as do the city buses. Breakfast is filled brioche and coffee at a nearby good, busy café bar on the main street. The room was serviced every day. The only thing a visitor needs to so is to phone the owner on arrival and he comes round with the front door and apartment keys. The lift was in excellent working order; much needed as the suite is on the 6th floor.

We are a family of 4 and stayed in December 2014. The Panoramic suites are a number of rooms in an apartment building. The room was a good size, very clean modern and comfortable, we had a room with a view over a piazza, very pleasant. The bathroom was clean and modern. The only negative was breakfast, you received a voucher which you took to a nearby coffee shop, it was very, very poor 2 euro worth of cakes and a coffee). There is a nice view of he city from the roof top. Location was good and within walking distance to most attractions. It is a bit of a walk to the hotel from the main train station. Overall our stay was great, we left late afternoon and the owner let us use the room for most of the day, which was a very generous gesture, this made up for the poor breakfast. I would definately stay here again if in Bolognia.

Only had a one night stay, but despite sketchy English, host was welcoming and had us straight into the room. The room itself is clean, comfortable and cute. Location is great. It had no facilities like fridge, stove, toaster plate, knife or fork, but everything you need in Bologna is downstairs on the streets

Spent 3 nights here in late September. Exceptionally clean and reasonably sized for a European property. The roof top terrace is absolutely superb, providing wonderful city views and a great place to relax. Would definitely stay there again.

A gem of a place, clean, convenient, friendly and economical. Couldn't fault anything and will return for sure when in Bologna! The roof terrace is the cherry on the cake! I've read some complaints that breakfast is skimpy and is served at a nearby cafe. That's unfair criticism in my opinion; at the price it's perfectly reasonable! If I could make one small suggestion, it would be great to have a small fridge in the room.
