In a private wing of the house, we have fashioned a large bedroom with its own bathroom and separate entrance, for maximum privacy during your stay. The colours and furnishings make our B&B truly unique: warm wooden flooring, turquoise ceramics in the private bathroom handmade by a local artist, and fun ‘70s light fixtures throughout. Cool, commodious and hip apartment for the price of a crummy hotel. Gracious and comfortable hosts. The husband speaks perfect English as he was a bicycle tour guide. Classic historical building, nice breakfast, more than the typical Italian breakfast. On the way back through Bologna I tried to change my reservation to return to Fondofrancia but couldn't get out of my hotel reservation. Shame since it cost twice as much and was not half as nice. Recommend! Recommend! Trip Advisor really steered me right on this one. They took me to the airport for free. They gave me a great dinner recommendation. I wanted to take their doggie for a walk to the park but she wouldn't go without her owners! This place made me happy!

My boyfriend and I stayed at B&B FondoFrancia for one night in late August 2013 and we are very positive about it. The bedroom and bathroom are very spacious and clean. The entire room is designed beautifully with modern and retro objects, which creates a cosy and unique atmosphere. B&B FondoFrancia is situated outside the city centre, but can be very easily reached by bus (10 mins). If you visit Bologna by car: you can park it safely in the street. Another plus: there is no streetnoise at night, so you will sleep soundly. The owners provided us with names of restaurants and the next morning, they had prepared a delicious breakfast. Afterwards, we were driven to the airport by car, which was very convenient. You definitely won't regret spending the night at this lovely B&B! :)

Very nice B&B convenient for Bologna airport and autostrada. Pleasant and spacious room; quiet and comfortable location. Hosts very friendly and helpful. On our next visit to Bologna, this is a place we would gladly return.
