We stayed in one of the houses. It was very good room for that price. We were happy to have air con. I wished kitchen facilities were open for us. They only open it if you stay longer then a week I think. However there was a fridge which was brilliant. Nice quiet swimming pool. The only thing I don’t recommend is restaurant, food is not best and overpriced compared to Bologna City centre.
We booked online and it looked decent on the pictures. When we arrived we were actually kind of shocked. All pictures online are at least 30 years old. The house was small and dark, the “kitchen” was dirty (dead flies on top,…) and the equipment was very poor and mostly broken. The water coming from the kitchen sink was so milky so we couldnt use the sink. The people at the reception were friendly, the lady at the “kiosk/shop” was grumpy and unfriendly. The food in the restaurant was ok, but pretty expensive. The location was horrible - industry area or more ghost town area. The pool was the best thing even though it had tons of wasps there. We booked 2 weeks and left after 5 days! Never again!
We had a small Bungalow for 130 € for two day's and two person, so 32.50 € per day and Person. When some one go in the Bungalow or move around also our moved 🙈 the toilet was also ok and we also had aircon. About safety: they check how is driffing in and they also have a main gate for the area but our Bungalow was the windos so bad that you not realy was able to close it perfectly. This means from outside with some force you easy able to open it, but nothing was happen and we took the important things with us. For going to town is a Bus and the ticket you get directly inside by the info desk. All in on. Good when you on the road and you like to visitting bologna for one or two days.
Good campsite with large pitches, that are nice and level, separated by hedges. Facilities were good and clean, prices reasonable. Out of town near farms, so plenty of places to walk or cycle. Dog owners be warned that all the neighbouring properties have guard dogs, most with attitude! There is a regular bus that runs from the campsite office into town, and the site also has a decent bar restaurant and also an outside pool.
an intresting place.rented a chalet, when arrived we were told we could not have a kettle or even boil one.not a good start to a weeks holiday.the accom was clean maid every day.unfortunately there is no seating inside or outside, but they have deckings.nice pool.restuarant quite good.but all the staff very miserable eveything was too much trouble
Had it all, shaded pitches, bar/restaurant, pool and good facilities including washer/dryers and cloths lines. Very reasonably priced also. The bus for the city stops outside the reception building every two hours during the day (tickets available in the bar) so no need to worry about parking.
A bit out of town so you have to take a bus every day which limits your time in the city to 8:45pm each day. The rooms were good we stayed in one of the campers which had our own toilet and air conditioning for the middle of summer. If your looking for a cheap place and aren't fussy about when you leave the city then this is a great place.
Great site with good facilities, but unforunatley the staff are extemely rude and very unfriendly. We stayed for two nights at the beginning and the end of our trip to Mugello circuit and on both occasions the staff were rude on arrival and when we went to the bar to get a drink they ignored us the first time and just ssid we are closed the second time and carried on with what they were doing. Very poor indeed.
This is a typical urban campsite, with approx 100 pitches, mainly hard standing. It is well laid out, with all pitches being level, and having access to hookup points. The pitches are are based around the well designed facilities block which contains the wc’s, showers and washing facilities which are all good. WiFi wise, we had 30 mins free access per day via a ticket. Overall, it is well designed and planned and a good base to explore.
I used a bungalow with access to the kitchen. You can live there quietly for a long time. Every Saturday the rooms are cleaned and replaced, the air conditioning works flawlessly, on the TV we find a lot of Italian programs, the pool is available from 10 to 19 every day. The downside is the huge amount of mosquitoes, strange that they are not only in the pool. The restaurant serves tasty meals and as a curiosity, it is run by Poles. When it comes to campsite, it's really close to the current, in the center there are plenty of toilets, showers and wash basins (the laces on the laundry are right next to the outside) and washing machines where you have to buy a chip before the reception .
