this b&b is good located for a visit in bologna, the breakfast consist of prepackt items and old bread rolls and could be better. Everthing is very styled but you have the feeling that you should not really be in this scene because you offset the styling for the host, who is fixing you room several times a day putting you luggage away and reorganize your personal things.

Thanks for your review. I hope you spent enjoyable hours in Bologna. I would however point out something. The access to rooms is twice a day. First time in the morning for daily cleaning, change of towels, minibar and selection of teas and coffee refill. As you know room has espresso coffee machine and kettle for guests free consume. Second time happens in the evening, to close the shutters, refresh the bed and bathroom if necessary, leave a night light lit and a sweetie to wish guests good night. This kind of service has always been appreciated like a kindness not like a privacy meddling. And also if some guests things are moved to clean. The breakfast offers Babybel, provolone and Parmigiano reggiano cheeses, Ham, milk rolls, biscuits, croissant from pastry, fruit salad, orange juice, butter, three kinds of jam produced by small sicilian farm, handicraft hazelnut cream, homemade pistachio cream, maple and agave syrups, honey, dried fruits, goji berries, yoghurt, muesli and corn flakes. I think it isn't essential my comment about the breakfast quality, because every one have just to read the other reviews here and on the portals, to understand how reductive was your description about it. Everytime I do my best to make the staying a special moment and I think it could be better to speak immediatly if something doesn't satisfy own taste, solving the problems and improving my service.

We actually stayed at Claudia's other B&B in the Via delle Tovaglie. It was just like being a personal guest of the owner. We were the only people staying, and were treated royally. Claudia is a wonderful and thoughtful host. We can highly recommend it. The breakfast is wonderful.

Claudia is the best! A wonderful hostess. As well as providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere in the decoration and thoughtful details of her guest room, Claudia was most helpful in sharing local knowledge. One of the highlights of our experiences in Italy is Claudia's kindness. We return home to Australia with good memories.

We(2) stayed at this B&B for 3 nights in May. Great location, 10 mins walk to centre of old town, close to sights and restaurants. B&B is very large, more like occupying the whole apartment. Claudia the host is very friendly and helpful in recommendations and assist in booking restaurants and taxi. Breakfast is continental, but high quality and ample choices and more than enough for us. Bologna is a good base to visit Florence, Venice, Parma, Modena. We did not rent a car, just walked or bus/train. Note: not much parking in vicinity of old town. No hesitation in recommending Casa Visconti.

Claudia is a gracious hostess par excellence who took care of our every need, above and beyond the call of duty. We loved the decor, especially our room and bathroom. Excellent breakfast served in a pretty setting. Perfect central location for sightseeing on foot. This was a highlight of our vacation!

My daughter (6) and I stayed here for2 nights in August 2015. The place is fantastic decorated with an eye for details. Bedroom and bathroom were comfortable. Also aircon in the room but is a bit noisy. Location is perfect to browse around the city center. Parking is a few streets away and costs 20 euro/night. I had to remove my car from the parking lot after 1 night since even the parking lot people went on holiday. Parked the car around the corner at a public square. The day after the broke into my car. Claudia, the host, was very helpful in contacting the italian carglass. Which resulted that I could replace my window the same morning. Despite this we had a wonderful stay in Bologna.

Myself and my boyfriend stayed at this lovely B&B in the heart of Bologna Old Town for 1 night (before heading to a wedding in Siena). It was relatively easy to find by car and Claudia was very accommodating straight away organising parking for us in a garage a couple of streets away upon our arrival (€15 for a day). The room was cosy and cool with good air con facilities. When we arrived there was complimentary water and grapes in our room, with our own coffee machine, and when we returned from our night time stroll the bed had been turned down with a lovely good night message and chocolate on our pillows! The bathroom was super clean with great amenities. The breakfast (included) was ample and fresh with good variety, including fresh fruit salad, cheeses and meats, cereal, yoghurt, toast etc etc. Casa Visconti is a great little find and within short walking distance to all the main sights. Definitely stay here if you are heading to Bologna!!…

What a fabulous find, Casa Visconti is a real home from home beautifully decorated, very comfortable and Claudia was the perfect host. We stayed here for a week, Claudia was able to give us lots of great information to make the most of our time in Bologna, from what to see and do, where to eat and day trips to near by towns and how to get there. We were made to feel so welcome, I hope we can visit again soon.

The landlady Claudia is a perfectionist and this reflects to your stay! Decoration, rooms, bed, location, breakfast, hospitality... Everything here is just excellent. You wouldn't ask for more!! It is a house just in the city center. It is nit a hotel. You stay there like you are a Bologneese!
