The room is well equipped offering a good design. The same applies to the bathroom. It is a more business oriented hotel, not really meant for a romantic getaway. If offers a pretty good breakfast and free parking. It is a bit outside the city centre, 40min walking.
Let me start by saying it is now midnight and I am still trying to get to sleep! The noise in this hotel is unbelievable. Doors crashing shut, echoing down the hallway and incredibly noisy guests. If you have business to conduct in Bologna then I would recommend you stay elsewhere as you will not get a restful night. The hotel is by no means 4*. It is very basic and incredibly overpriced. I visit Bologna regularly on business and will not be staying here again.
Firstly this was booked by my Italian distributor. There is no room service or a restaurant a much for me on business as I have no car. When asked for a local restaurant none were open on a Monday. The rooms are ok but need updating.
On the plus side are the cleanliness and modern style. The location is maybe not that great, but that was obvious for me when I made the booking. What actually made my decision for this place was the explicit mentioning of business support on their homepage. However, with WiFi not working there was not much of business one could do. Also the boarding pass, which I downloaded during my a meeting in town, could not be printed out as there is simply no printer in the "business center". On top of that reception refused to print it out for me, when I offered the document as PDF on a USB stick. In summary, an ordinary hotel at an inconvenient location, that by no means should advertise "business" on it's web page.
Great business hotel not located far from the fair and the city centre, friendly staff and clean rooms, the hotel is simple but that’s alright, the breakfast is ok with fresh food and it is never empty as the staff is filling up quickly. The rooms as good, bathroom is ok, Will stay there again.
HC3 is an updated comfortable hotel. The staff were very friendly and check in was quick and simple. The lobby is clean and spacious with a large breakfast area off to the right side of the building. Key factors: the price was reasonable 64 Euros per night, free parking and free full breakfast. We had a few small issues - the double bed was two twin beds put together so if you really need to sleep it is great. The mattress and pillows were too firm for us as well. After the second night, we adjusted a bit better to the mattress and pillows. The hotel was located about 10-15 minutes from the Twin Towers downtown. If you don't want to drive to the downtown area, it will cost about 20 Euros for Taxi (total). The breakfast included many pastries, bread, waffles, fruit (variety of seasonal items), hard boiled eggs, cheeses, meats, cereal, yogurt and the staff will make fresh cappuccino, espresso, americana, etc. The rooms were clean and included blow dryer, shampoo, lotion, and a small square of body soap. Free wi-fi, too.…
About 30-45 min walk from the center. Very accessible by car, and on the "right" side of town relating to the airport. The staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was great. My room was clean and nice, but with an amazing amount of buttons that I really could not get a grip off. After trying a while to turn the air condition on I gave up. It was a bit warm for a guy from northern Sweden, but OK.
It was an amazing stay! Nothing to add. Everything was beyond good. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are very comfortable, everything is accessible. The location is perfect, especially if you are interested in the medical clinic nearby.
I went with a friend just for a night and the first inconvenient was the location is not in the center of bologna but with the bus is ok. The breakfast was excelent and the room clean and comfy. Reception was great and helped us in every way, like said before is not a friendly warm hotel, is just everything u need to get a good rest.
This is a very basic and functional hotel for mid to budget business travellers. No frills - everything is self-service. Clean and efficient but not friendly or warm in any way. Not convenient for centre of city - we only stayed here because of friends in the neighbourhood.
