Modern, clean hotel and nice and helpful staff. Warm and very comfortable room with a candle lit at night! Very nice breakfast and great location. And special thanks to the hotel Receptionist Johnny for his friendly, helpful and professional customer service during my stay!

The hotel itself is lovely - clean, modern and very much up to 4 star standard. However, we paid 15 euros for a breakfast which was an absolute rip off. I do not know how bread, cheese and meat can justify a 15 euro price tag.

Dear Jen, thank you for your feedback about your stay at I Portici Hotel - Bologna: we are so happy reading that you enjoyed it! But what a pity that you think breakfast is expensive: every cake, the biscuits and the brioche are home made. We serve just coffee, cappuccino and orange juice freshly prepared, as well as eggs, bacon...

Spent two nights in I Portici, in January. The hotel is close to the train station and a 10 minute walk from the centre. Our room, on the ground floor, was large and pleasant, in a spartan sort of way. Breakfast was on a par with what you´d expect for a 4* Two things stop me from giving it a...

I stayed one night in this lovely hotel in Bologna and would love to return. Located a short walk from the train station and the center of town, this hotel welcomed me warmly with free coffee and pro secco and upgraded my room. The room was lovely, and breakfast was in an 18th century theatre. The price was a bargain...

My hubby and I stayed here for 2 nights in January and loved it. Our room was super spacious and quiet, in fact the whole hotel has the elegant feel and look of quiet and airy. I love that the building itself is an old building so even tho its a contemporary hotel, its old world character comes through. Staff...

Very well located in the centre of the city, good rooms (a bit small) with all facilities, free wifi, coffee etc a nice restaurant. and very reasonable at that. Great if you want to be close to the Piazza and all the action.

Stayed here 2 nights on ground floor in wheelchair accessible room. Didn't like being so near lobby as it was quite noisy and not so private. Bed was comfortable, room service was superb. Friendly, helpful staff. Location was excellent and in walking distance to many of Bologna's sights.

On the front of it, this is a great hotel. The concept also great with how it pitches itself with restaurants & bar etc. The hotel and structured facilities are well renovated and quality high, albeit sound proofing is non-existent, but we do not mind that in an old city. Access to things like the bar and La Terrazza restaurant...

Spent New Year at the I Portici hotel. Reception staff were very nice and helpful. A Lovely hotel in a good location just a 10 minute walk from the main square. Our "standard" room was very small with not a lot of hanging space for clothes and a bit sole-less. However, the tea & coffee making facilities in the room...

It was our first stay at the Portici and we loved the experience. We are a family of four and got two connecting rooms with beautiful views on the park behind the main street. The beds were very comfortable, the rooms silent and the modern design of the interiors in a historical building maintaining several original features was relaxing and...
