Small B&B. A hall with entrances to several rooms. The hall serves as a kitchen, where breakfast is served (too modest, even for my non-picky taste). You can use refrigerator with refreshing drinks, make coffee (Nespresso machine or instant coffee). Clean room, pretty small, but convenient. The owner Roberto is friendly and helpful. He met us near the building, showed... More

We stayed at Opera B&B earlier this week after much confusion. We could not locate it from the train station and thought we were staying at Opera ll, but when we arrived...nothing. Thankfully I had Robertos phone number and he noted that we were in fact booked into Opera B&B in the "old city" of Parma....5 minutes there he was... More

We stayed one day at another highly rated B&B nearby and the second day at Opera. Both owners were fantastic. The rooms at Opera were far superior. Especially the bathrooms. Thank God for a bathroom suitable for someone over 6' tall!

The Opera B&B, run by Roberto and his wife is in a great location. Strada Garibaldi takes one downtown Parma, to the Opera and Museum and directly to the train station. The room was fine and better because of the location. Roberto was extremely helpful and nice. He took us to the train after our three days in Parma, for... More

Perfect B&B in the center of Parma, near all the major attractions, good restaurants, museums, the opera house and the parco ducale for a little respite under the trees. In addition it is an easy walk to the train station for out of town trips. Roberto is the most thoughtful host, even meeting us as we arrived on the train... More

Roberto is a true gentleman. He doesnt live onsite but it was easy to arrange checkin. He gave us such a warm welcome. Took the time to point out key sights on a map, advised us of changes in closing hours, suggested restaurants and made reservations, and advised us where to have an early evening drink. He is clearly very... More

Great Location and Great Accommodations This was our first stop in Italy and Roberto was so welcoming. He gave us excellent restaurant recommendations and sites to see. The room was wonderful and the breakfast and coffee were excellent.

Roberto does everything he can to majestic your stay the best possible.. Totally redone rooms with all modern conveniences except lights over bathroom sink but that is true across Europe. Very clean rooms, comfortable common area and fresh pastries, yogurt, fruit and a wonderful coffee machine. Happy with our choice.

We returned with our family to Parma in early June 2014 after first visiting in 2011, and knew we wanted to return to the Opera B&B! We met Roberto outside the B&B on Strada Garibaldi. Like our first visit, Roberto was very friendly and helpful. The B&B was just as nice as we remembered it. The breakfast was delicious! The... More
