We picked this hotel from reviews primarily on Trip Advisor, and were not disappointed. The hotel was clean, quiet, well arranged, and the staff went out of their way to be helpful. There is no parking at the hotel, but the staff quickly and efficiently helped us get to the parking garage they have an arrangement with. Our room was...

We had the perfect stay - the location was great; the staff helpful, responsive and charming; the rooms well arranged and comfortable; we sleep great; the water was hot; breakfast was more than expected; all we could want. Staff helped with parking at a nearby location and with loading and unloading at the hotel. Their recommendations (and cautions) worked out...

The Victoria Hotel is situated 10 min away from the walking area and 15 minutes walking away from the main tourist area of Trieste. Hence, if you stay here you are nearby good restaurants and many cool tourist attractions. Due to these 15 minutes you get a good price for a nice room in a high quality hotel. The rooms...

Dear OleHugo, I am very glad that in your opinion the literary hotel of Trieste is a high quality place for your money. As per the position, we are not only at the back of the San Giusto Castle, from where you can enjoy the best view of the whole Gulf, but also we are on one of the main...

We enjoyed our stay ( only one night) in Hotel Victoria. The staff was welcoming, responsive to requests and prompt in addressing. It was raining the day we arrived ( by car) and the hotel was helpful in guiding us with parking arrangements at nearby car park at discount over normal rates. The rooms were of a good size (...

Dear arvind1000, thank you for your nice report of your experience at the literary hotel of Trieste. I’ am very glad that you appreciated your stay with us. It’s true we do not have kettles in the room, yet our bar is 24h open, and you simply need to call downstairs to be served, or otherwise, as in your case,...

I stayed in this hotel for 6 days during my business visit to Trieste in Feb 2017. It's a small but very cleaned and excellent Hotel. Reception staffs are excellent and charming. Small restaurant at ground floor offer breakfast. Negative of this Hotel is non availability of Restaurant for Lunch/Dinner.

Dear Anil1968, Thank you for showing your appreciation with this review. It’s true we do not have an inside restaurant, but at 50 mt from the hotel there is our preferred restaurant partner: Bracerie Venete. I hope the next time to have the chance to introduce you to it. Lovely, boutique style hotel that had lovely rooms (albeit rather small) with nice big bathrooms. Breakfast wasn't that good but hotel didn't really seem geared up for lots of guests. Its downsize - not a great location for the main sites of Trieste, lots of walking was required!

Dear KHBSwindon, thank you for appreciating our being a boutique hotel. My apologies for the breakfast, which is usually very appreciated. Our location is one of the main avenue, yet at the back of the San Giusto Castle, reachable in 10 mins walking as well as Piazza Unità d’Italia, the biggest square in front of the sea in Europe. Had been travelling thru Europe and meeting my partner in Trieste before going on to Venice. Ideally wanted a quiet place but close to centre but with that something extra to make it special; hotel Victoria exceeded all expectations.

My husband and I spent 5 nights in this lovely hotel. Breakfast was a wonderful start to the day. On our second morning, the barista knew the kind of coffee we wanted and brought it to us immediately. The buffet included sliced fruit, eggs and a meat, breads, cheeses/meats, and a beautiful array of fresh pastries. The room was spacious...
