My husband and I recently stayed at Ariamarina. This bed and breakfast was superb in all respects. The owner, Nadia (Nadji), was the most wonderful hostess and very helpful in her recommendations for sightseeing and dining. The accommodations were well appointed and immaculate. Breakfast on the patio among her flowers was like dining in an outdoor garden. The location was...

B&B Ariamarina was perfect, Nadia the hostess is charming and warm. She recommended a very good place for us to eat on the first night and also recommended the best sunbathing spot! The apartment is nicely decorated and the rooms and bathrooms were very clean. My boyfriend is over 6 feet and he found the shower small but loved the...

Value for money and hospitality are great at this small and efficiently-run B&B. Live-in owner Nadja is a Trieste-native who converted the family-flat into the facility after her nest emptied. She's lively and friendly, although self-admittedly shy about speaking English with her guests. Communication is not an issue, though. Rooms are about 80 € for double and 68 for single-use...

We (an American couple in our 60s) stayed here three nights October. As others have reported, the 2 bedrooms are clean and comfortable and each has a nice en suite bath. It is very centrally located, no more than a 10 orf 15 min. walk from the Piazza d'Unita Italia. The best thing about it, however, is the owner, Nadia...

From the outside of the building you would never suspect what lies within! Two beautifully updated, well appointed modern style rooms with fantastic bathrooms. The apartment is walking distance to restaurants and town. Our hostess, Nadia, was delightful and served us an amazing breakfast in the morning with delicious coffee, fresh fruit, pastries and breads. We were sorry that we...

Absolutely fantastic all round! Great location, in the old city near the restaurants and shops. Very impressive historic building, but with a beautifully renovated interior. Modern, clean and stylish room, very quiet and comfortable. Great bathroom. Breakfast was served on the interior patio. Fabulous setting with a wide variety of fresh food. The owner is a wonderful host, offering advice...

Nadia was exceptionally welcoming and the room was a delight. The street is unasuming but right in the heart of the old city. Once you enter through the door and go up to the apartment it feels like you have discovered something special. We were very impressed with the style and cleanliness of the room which was really like having...

“I confess that we only saw the room we stayed in to any great extent, along with the living room. Our room had a glass door onto the patio that formed the light well in the building; light and pleasant.”

“Quiet and pristine in the heart of the city....a true oasis.”

“Cannella: The larger of the two rooms, studio feel with a long desk/snack bar, sofa, large bed, ensuite bathroom and small food preparation area with a hob, sink and fridge, which we found useful for sandwich preparation. This room is street facing and is very well sound proofed, not that the road is particularly busy anyway apart from the odd Scooter! Cobalto: A twin/double room, also has an ensuite and is well sized, the benefit of this room is that it has a large french window leading out to the terrace garden which is where breakfast is served and can also be used for relaxing. Again, the room is quiet and we slept very well in here. There is also a fridge and a desk/table. Ample wardrobe room in both, with hangers provided. Both are contemporary and tastefully decorated. Air conditioned.”
