This is an "annex" to the Grand Duchi, and the guests can use all amenities in the main hotel (under renovation). But you have to cross the street each time, and this detracts from an otherwise great hotel.

This was our first trip to Trieste. We chose the Hotel Duchi Vis a Vis from the favourable reviews on Trip Advisor and we were not disappointed We had a spacious, light room with a view of the harbour. The shower room was great and we enjoyed having a coffee machine in the room. Breakfast is served across the street...

We had a room (14) with a wonderful view of the harbor. Room was modern and clean. Windows were soundproof. We felt the mattress was hard for our liking, but typical for europe. The location was great, just across the street from Piazza Unita d' Italia and a block away from the harbor. Many good restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast...

Stayed for 4nights in June due to Duchi d'Aosta being full. This hotel is very moden, room was comfortable, but all it was somewhere to sleep as had to go to Duchi for breakfast. It's a few steps away from Duchi, but still close to shops etc. There is only 1 floor which has rooms.

We stayed in the design wing in a room that was both beautiful and comfortable. The staff was very helpful with some tricky travel plans. Breakfast is simply astounding at Harry's best I have had in terms of quantity and superb quality. Management runs a 5 star establishment and should be very proud of this truly great place in a...

I was born and lived some time in Trieste and from time to time I have to get back there for business reasons. Had a nice and clean room and also a good rate. The surroundings are great since you happen to be in the centre of the town close to the old part of it.

Great hotel for business trip. Quiet and stylish with nice materials. In the middle of the center, with great facilities. The waiter in the breakfast restaurant, Tommy, so polite and service minded, even served a nice glass of local "prosecco" for breakfast. Will book the same for next visit.

The breakfast room overlooks the piazza unita d'italia with the sun streaming in. Tommy serves breakfast wiht great flair and thoughtfulness. This and the promise of a warm swim in an indoor pool in the middle of a chilly spring day was the highlight. Thanks!

We stayed here for one night as part of a road trip. Parking was valet parking which was efficient. The 'vis a vis' hotel is across the road from its parent hotel, where check in occurs and breakfast is taken. Porters helped with the luggage though and so it was a convenient arrangement. The room was of a good standard...
