Its not often that you come across a hotel where everything flows smoothly throughout the visit, but our stay at the Continentale was amazing. The hotel is conveniently located in the centre of the city. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had an attic room that had plenty of space (more than usual for central city European hotels)....

Great location, just steps from all of the major sites (though not quite close enough to train station with my huge bag). Staff was amazingly nice, bent over backward to make a room available for me when I arrived early at 9 AM, had great recommendations the entire trip. Free internet downstairs, very nice room (tiny for the US but...

The hotel is both conveniently and inconveniently located. It is convenient for walking to many different locations in central Trieste on a nice walking street with lots of trattorias, osterias, bars, shops and gelato and about a three minute walk to the water. However, parking is a complete pain although you can pay 21 Euros and the hotel will take...

We stayed in the refurbished palazzo around the corner from the main hotel. Spectacular architecture, B&B Italia furniture, gorgeous bathroom, and full kitchen. It doesn't get nicer than this. The staff were extremely helpful. One of the nicest hotels we stayed in during our two week trip. And, believe it or not, one of the cheapest. What more could you...

The location is the best part of this hotel. On a walking street and very near the main plaza, grande canal and old city stroll. I had a decent room and breakfast was good. The parking was a hassle and a bit pricey. The internet was consistently inconsistent. I changed rooms to get better reception, but is was still spotty...

The location of this hotel could not be bettered, it is so central to everything in Trieste and in a nice area, also. (We didn't have a car but if we had, I think it could have been a problem anywhere in Trieste). The hotel was very clean, and very comfortable. The staff were good and efficient. Everything worked. The...

Their english was perfect, they both provided us with a list of places we could vist in and around the city-they really did make our stay memorable . Breakfast was ample- selection of...

This hotel is situated on a pedestrianized street and has plenty of bars and cafes really close by. Short walk to the old town or the main square. The staff were very helpful and there was a good breakfast included in the price. Room had free high speed intranet but was a little old fashioned and the mini-safe broke and...

After reviewing the comments on Tripadvisor, we booked 2 nights in the net for Eur140 per night for 2 persons including breakfast and telephonically extended for another night for Eur160. The reception staff are exceptionally friendly, competent and helpful. The hotel is situated in a pedestrian street with no traffic noise. Our room on the top floor was spacious, clean...

I stayed at the Continentale for one night at the end of March and overall was very pleased. Its a small boutique hotel very centrally located. Room and bathroom were clean, pleasant and modern. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine but not extensive. Would definitely stay there again. Its is located on the corner of street with...
