Rooms are spacious, clean, with great ambient old fashioned style in a modern key. Great window over the bed makes possible to fall asleep watching stars. Locations is great, closed to many beaches and not far from city center. It's possible to borrow bikes. Area is very peaceful and relaxing and there's a great garden. Ideal for a romantic staying. Owner very helpful and kind.

Included Trieste in our trip in honor of a dear friend who was born there. Found it beautiful, with lots of historical places to visit, one of them being the palace of Miramare of Maximilian and Carlota who, for a short period of their lives, were Emperors of Mexico. Good Italian food, very well communicated by public transportation.

We spent 10 nights in La Residenze dei Serravallo. The appartment is simple but full of everything what you need during a self-sufficient holiday: kitchen with tools and dishwasher, washing machine and iron, haridryer, climate system...Even if the bed is on a gallery, and we were there in hot days of July, we didn't used the climate system and we did sleep well. The beach of Trieste is about 200 m far, and you can go into the centre of Trieste by cycle or bus (bus-stop is next to the beach, so also about 200 m far from the appartment), it is about 5 km far.

Apartment is very nice,stylish furnitured and very good located for the holiday in Trieste. You have everything You need even for a longer stay,owner was very kind,there is possibility to get bicycles for free.You have parking very near the Barcola,and can go to the beach by foot.Sea is beatiful,very clean,warm (august 2015),fantastic for people who dont need the sand beach.Trieste is the great town for night tour,also you can walk along the sea coast in Barcola.We had very nice holiday there ,in Italy everything is suited to people,wonderful country.

If you want to be in the heart of the city, then you won't like this place. However, if you want to be in a quiet area, close to the sea (watch out, no sand here), with possibility to run at night or morning, enjoy nice restaurants with seaview, then you pick the right place. The residence has everything you need: full kitchen, full bathroom with a washing machine, a living room and a bedroom with a/c. It's clean and you have housekeeping service too - not daily but sufficient anyway for long or short stay. We like it and we return year on year. A good alternative if you look for a peaceful vacation!
