Very good hotel in centar. Excellent staff, good breakfast. The rooms are nicely furnished and spacious Parking is nearby of the hotel, which is also okay. It costs €15 per day. I recommend it to everyone.
I stayed for 3 nights in late October in Room 111 with a bathroom allocated further down the corridor. The room was functional and had a wash basin though I did not find the bed particularly comfortable. The bad aspects were: 1) The state of the bathroom: extremely small; damp mound on the walls and in the tile grouting; and a high fixed shower head which made it impossible to adjust the temperature without getting a cold soaking. Even worse was the extremely cramped breakfast room making it difficult to pass between the tables and the poor quality and limited choice of the food provided. The amount charged was 270 GBP.
It was my first time staying in a 2* hotel and it puts a lot of more expensive options to shame! Very pleasantly surprised and glad I trusted reviews. The room was clean and spacious, as was the bathroom. Nice window that opened to the street. The shower stall step up and soap stand heights were a bit awkward for my height so I did get injured twice while taking a shower, but got over it quickly. Due to covid, we have to order our food online, and they give you the link via whatsapp. I've stayed at so many hotels in Covid and everyone else needed me to fill out a paper form and submit to reception before a certain time... so this was super convenient! The location is close to many main attractions. Many say "great" but frankly it's just that Trieste isn't huge, so location really doesn't matter that much (unless you're staying outside of it). I would totally stay again.…
This is definitely the best choice I make! POerfect value for money. Rooms are big, luminous, renewed, refurbished, confortable and practical The hotel is very well located in the city center. Breakfast is varied and everyday you can have different option. Coffee is Illyof incredible good quality. Matresses are restful and service flawless!!!!!!!
Great location for visiting Trieste! The rooms were well appointed and clean. The breakfast buffet had some nice options. The best part was the location - an easy walking distance to all the sights in central Trieste.
Clean Rooms and cozy, Fabulous breakfast and very tasty especially salty croissants. The location is perfect and very Central. You’re close for restaurants, Coffe Shops and shopping. 5min a way by walk from bus terminus. Staff is very friendly. WIFI good. Highly recommended and good value for money!! Surely I will go for the same hotel.
A very convenient place to stay if you are flying from Trieste: about 8 minutes walk from the bus terminal, where you can get bus No 51 to the airport. It is a converted family apartment with nice high ceilings and freshly painted walls. The place is clean, and lift is available. I was on a budget so I choose a room with a shared bathroom - and that worked OK. As it was January - presumably low season - I didn't see may other guests - so I could use the bathroom whenever I wanted. I understand that they also have rooms with en-suite bathrooms. The bathroom looks newly refurbished, with a decent shower. Room was warm and clean, breakfast was more generous then I expected - so I would go there again.
Just some 5-10 min walk from the bus/train station & close to the waterfront, Nuovo Albergo Centro offered clean, freshly refurbished rooms, cozy atmosphere and friendly service. I had a large room with a private bathroom, but there seems to have been no problem for using shared bathrooms. Despite the narrow corridor, I had no issue of noise. Breakfast was typically Italian. Will consider this hotel again.
Ten minutes’ walk from the bus/train station and about the same to Trieste’s waterfront and main square. The hotel is clean, well-run, and friendly. Staff are helpful; shared bathrooms not a problem. We will try to get in there next time we are in Trieste.
The most comfortable beds we encountered on a month-long trip. The location is central, but not too far away from the rail station. Our room was crisp and clean with sound-proofing windows. Nice touches on where the electric plugs were. The bathroom wasn't small. The shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. The wifi signal was strong and constant. Staff was personable and helpful. The breakfast had a variety of choices, but the room was small and all tables quickly filled.
