exemplary, well informed, a bit Palermo Buenos Aires flair, secluded and articulate. Rooms with a design penchant, adequately airconditioned and with independent units entrance wise. Though located in a noisy area it manages to avoid all.
Hotel Urban is the best place to stay in Trieste. Perfect location, optimal and attentive service, super clean and spacious rooms with a sleek modern design and shower that is to die for. Breakfast is excellent and offers a wide variety of local and international selections. The dining room allows you the unique chance to enjoy a meal over a glass floor that showcases ruins of the ancient Roman port of Trieste below. The restaurant is incredible and has an up and coming chef who personally greeted us after our meal. COVID-19 precautions are impeccable. We really can’t say enough about this special gem and can’t wait to come back.
For my work i stayed 4x one month in this wonderfull "family" hotel. The staff is very friendly and professional. The most important person is ofcourse the cook Anna, she made the most wonderfull local dishes..
Modern, clean and inviring hotel. Ouside does not look much and slightly off putting but once inside it is lovely. Greeat location close to all bars and restuarants and yet so quiet. The breakfast (included) was amazing.
On paper this hotel had everything we wanted, it was central and modern, and not wildly expensive. Sadly our stay there and that of our friends did not go well. We had booked a suite, which was not in the main block, though we were not told this. Both the bedroom and sitting room were dark and airless, and we had to have the lights on all the time, apart of course while sleeping. The receptionists were not impolite, but you felt they could be, they were not that helpful. Possibly having come from Slovenia and the charm of the people there, I was expecting too much. The breakfast was OK, however the downstairs lavatory was a disgrace. Dirty with the waste paper baskets overflowing. I mentioned this to the reception, and they said they would deal with it. Two hours later there had been no improvement. it goes without saying, I would never book this hotel again. The Aosta, which is nearby, is a bit more expensive, but a far safer bet.…
Nice modern hotel in city center next to main square. Perfect locality bars restaurants sightseen groceries is few steps. Room was clean and comfirt just bathroom is litle older. Only problem is that room can be litle more isolated. We heard sounds from other flor and outside. Brackfast is one of better i try in hotels. It can contain lactosefree things bud you can chose something from it. Corasaints and cackes looks good. Even caffe i was nice nit what you used to have in other hotels in europe :) thx god for itally. Orange juce is fresh made from oranges by auto machine or you can make your own smothoe from prepared vegetable and fruit. Staff was polite and helpfull. If you come by car you can park around hotel on blue places but i recomand to park it neare port becouse the price is 1/2 off the city price. So if you looking for hotel in center this hotel is good choice. …
Stayed few nights at Trieste on a business trip and I was enjoyably surprised with the excellent service and experience I had in Urban Hotel! Wonderful rooms and premises, super location and a greatly helpful and willing staff! Everything was great ! The only disadvantage is that the hotel does not provide restaurant for those days where it’s not so convenient to get a lunch elsewhere right on time due to their distinct local working hours during the day.Surely, I will choose once again to stay over there on my next visit!
Sweet hotel ! Located in the center of the city, which makes it easy to sightsee. Friendly staff, amazing food and cozy interior. I would give it 10 stars if that was possible :)) I will definitely come back.
This hotel would have to be one of the best if not the best hotel I have stayed in. It is in a good location only a few minutes from the main plaza of Trieste. The hotel itself is a wonderfully modern design with no fuss. The rooms are spacious and again clean and modern with a large TV with actually has English speaking channels like CNN and BBC and a few more which is very hard to find in Italy. The breakfast is an amazing spread of hot eggs, cold meats, smoked salmon, various cheeses and a lot more. The reception staff and amazing as well, always with a smile and helpful hints. If I coul dI would give this hotel six stars. I just wish that whoever owns this hotel would open a few more around Italy as most hotels in Italy are old and fussy. The other amazing thing is that this hotel is very reasonable priced. I am so happy that I picked to stay in this hotel and would recommend it highly to any traveller who likes a modern style hotel where everything works.…
Very friendly, very efficient staff, very clean. But distinctly difficult to find, with an undistinguished entrance reached via very discrete signage at the far end of a car park. Having checked in, we were led trudging our baggage through the hotel, out the other side, then down a small street to an annex ( with equally discrete signs). Where we had to lug the suitcases up a flight of stairs, before boarding a lift in the landing space, which stopped (either below or above, depending upon taste) our room on the second floor. That said, we spent three nights there, satisfactorily, in a suite that had a very large and comfortable bed with good pillows, a sitting room with relaxing chairs plus a very welcome refrigerator with - unlike most!- a freezer compartment. Breakfast was back in the main hotel, and very good it was too, although rainy mornings meant arriving somewhat bedraggled from walking up the street from the annex. As others have commented, this hotel is conveniently placed for most of the tourist parts of the city, albeit some way from any bus stop.…
