#5 of 14 B&Bs / Inns in Corniglia

My husband, mother-in-law and I stayed at Daa Maduneta for a one night stay in Cinque Terre. The room was perfect - one double bed in one room and then a separate room with a single. There was a beautiful big covered terrace with amazing views of the sea. Also a balcony in the back where you can see the terraced land and maybe a boar, chicken and cat ;) Max was very kind and left us 3 mini bottles of Prosecco in the room. I recommend you book directly with Daa Maduneta. We will not hesitate to return here. Ci vediamo a presto, grazie mille!

While many accomodations advertise sea view, this one actually has it. I sat on my bed in the mornings with the window open and looked at the sea while enjoying a cup of tea (kettle, tea bags, mugs provided). The owner Max let me into the room before checkin-time and was ready to help when I got stung by a wasp. Very forthcoming in total. I had all I need and felt looked after. Wireless LAN was a bit unsteady and walls are thin but I think the accomodation is good value.

If you have visited the Cinque Terre in recent years you know that every train car, bus and square inch of walking space is crammed with backpackers. They swarm in the morning and shuffle out in the evening. Corniglia may be the quietest of the five but it is as impacted as the others. Because we enjoy the tourist free mornings and evenings we stayed overnight at Daa Maduneta. Max is a friendly, attentive host and the small hotel overlooking the sea has modern, impeccably maintained rooms. It is a short, crowded bus ride from the train or you can hike the stairs from the station to it's front door (a cardiac challenge to be sure). Reasonably priced.

This Beautiful place is located in the most tranquil and peaceful place I've ever been. The property is exceptionally well taken care of and the attention to detail is clearly evident. Our room had the most Beautiful view of the sea and we didn't want to leave. The AC works perfectly and the bed was very comfortable! We ate dinner at the restaurant across the street both nights and ate breakfast at this Beautiful family run restaurant that was one minute away! Max is EXCEPTIONAL!!! He went above and beyond for us during our entire stay!! We ADORED Max and were sad to say goodbye to both Max and this Beautiful place!! Don't hesitate to book this place... I stay at plenty of high end hotels and none of them have ever left a more special mark for me than this place did. A++++++

We loved this place! It’s very near to the center of Corniglia village and still on a silent spot. The view from the window is beautiful! Max is a great host and very helpful. He also contacted us about the check-in time (it’s only during some hours in the afternoon and we would not have remembered that without the message) day before the accommodation. We found this very helpful. There is a kettle in the room and some tea and coffee so it is nice to enjoy some evening tea in the room :-). And there is a very nice garden available to use for the guests.
