The location in Corniglia is fantastic being right above nice shops and restaurants. However as are many areas in Corniglia, if you have issues climbing more than a small set of stairs you will want to consider other options. The terrace was nice with a great view of the mountainside. With the exception of garbage can still full from prior occupants the rest of the apartment was very clean. These rooms are right in the heart of Corniglia however above many shops and restaurants.

Location is excellent in the heart of Corniglia. But please note that Corniglia is the hardest town to reach. There is a steep climb from the rail station that is, frankly, impossible to do with luggage. Luckily, there is a shuttle that you must buy tickets for that runs continuously from the train station to the heart of Corniglia. Once dropped off at the village, you go up the main Freschi street a bit (more uphill walking) and check in. Our room was on the roof of an adjacent building, up 4 flights of stairs with no elevator. Keep that in mind when hauling luggage. The room itself was clean with a bath and two nice balconies. Nothing fancy by American standards. In fact, it is a quirky basic room. However, it was clean, had great views, and the two balconies allowed good air flow and various degrees of privacy.

We recently stayed here on a tour of Italy! It was a little peaceful haven to relax and enjoying the surrounds. A place where one can stay for a few days! It is centrally situated with restaurants around it! I will go back to this lovely B&B

I had the best experience with staying here when traveling through the cinque terra. Corniglia was such an awesome town, especially at nights once all the tourists from the cruise ships and day trips took the last trains/boats out of town (around 5pm, other trains and boats between the 5 towns in cinque terra stay running much later). The town is very quiet at night, and has a number of great restaurants to walk to. It is also easy to take a train to a neighboring town and eat dinner there. All of the hiking trails from Corniglia have great views and are relatively easy (lots of stairs though). The Bed and Breakfast Le Terrazze was possibly our favorite place to stay of the 14 nights we were in Italy. We were provided a two bedroom apartment for the stay, and it was a much more reasonable cost than a number of other locations we stayed throughout our trip because the towns here are much better priced than other locations. The apartment was beautiful with a great painting in the kitchen and air conditioning, it had a fully functioning kitchen and a balcony that overlooked the ligurian sea, and a large garden directly below us that is open to all guests to enjoy, but closed off to public entrance. We will 100% be returning some day, and will be definitely staying here again. The owner was so nice, and more than accommodating with our limited Italian language skills.

Right next to the 4 Seasons in Buenos Aires, there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. Checking out several of their menues, sushi, italian, and steak houses and many other offerings, we chose this restaurant based on their friendliness when we asked about several of their selections. We got there at 7:30 pm as early birds...diners in Buenos Aires follow the Spanish tradition of beginning their dinner after 9! We witnessed so many customers embraced as friends as they came through the door on a rainy night. Delicious Ialian food, good size portions, and a friendly atmosphere made this random choice a real winner.

The appartement is big with a lot of odds and ends but the bare necessities fail like there's not any knives in the kitchen so we have to break the bread and the cheese with a fork. The apartment is dusty and old fashioned. The church tower keeps you awake if you're sensitive for it. Air conditioning isn't available.

Amazing - I would rate this place six stars if I could. Both Le Terrazze B&B AND the Cinque Terra region as a whole. Maybe we got lucky with the exact apartment we were given but it was stunning. Opened straight out into a huge garden terrace with loungers and good shade, then a second tier of terrace directly below that by short steps (with Jacuzzi for €10 per hour!), then yet another pretty private terrace below that with more loungers, tables and shade. Great aircon in room (FYI they give extra blankets on request) and great wifi in room and on terrace. Utterly beautiful and what a great place to chill after a days hiking. In my opinion Corniglia is the best of the 5 Cinque Terra villages. Not so touristy - particularly after 5pm. Great vibe (not deserted but not packed in mid-July when we came), great views, stunning sunsets and although no harbour it does have a lovely rocky cove (with shade) for swimming and nice snorkelling - there were a few people there to keep you company but not at all crowded. Clear water, plenty of fish! Very chilled. In fact the path to the cove starts at the entrance to this apartment and it's a 10 min walk down from there. There are about 10 proper restaurants in town and several other bars/gelato places. There's one right next to the lookout point at the end of the Main Street which will actually serve you cold drinks and snacks after 7pm as you watch the sunset from the public lookout terrace. Amazing. Getting to Corniglia couldn't be easier. Flight into Pisa - small modern airport so you are through passport control and out in 10 minutes. Taxi to Pisa station (literally 4 minutes door to door). Train to la Spazzia takes 50 mins. Ten minute wait, then train to Corniglia (or any of the 5 Cinque Terra villages) takes another 15-20 minutes max. Loads of trains - at least 4 per hour in summer. Small local shuttle Bus meets each train at Corniglia station and takes you up hill in 5 mins - (cost 1.5 euros, or free like the trains if you have the Cinque Terra hiking pass - driver takes cash if not). Our B&B was literally 1 minute walk from the bus drop off point. This journey is actually so easy that even when our plane was delayed a bit and literally touched down / arrived at 3.05pm at Pisa airport we still easily got the 3.38pm train from Pisa station to La Spezzia without even breaking a sweat ...although admittedly we only had hand luggage! But you get the point... don't sweat the transfer :-) we were in our apartment within 2.15 hours of the plane landing and it was all totally civilised. As a note it's easy to buy and print all train tickets in advance on the 'Italiarail' website - actually a very user friendly site and as I say you can print all tickets in advance as they email you a link to your PDF tickets with your order. Also worth noting when I looked at one or two other websites like theTrainline.eu they indicated the trains were all 'sold out' but this is complete nonsense - I figure it just says this as they can't supply for some reason (maybe no eTicket / PDF functionality?) but given we were there in high season I can vouch for the fact the trains have tonnes of capacity and spare seats when you get there. Even on the very busy section serving the 5 Cinque Terra villages there are still empty seats as these are big double-decker trains. I nearly crapped myself when I tried to book my tickets on these other sites a few days before travelling as I know train is the easiest and cheapest option - i was beginning to wonder how we would get there!!? But thank goodness I found the italiarail website as that made it all so easy - who says a nationalised railway can't give great customer service ?!. Needless to say all the Cinque Terra villages are worth visiting as they are all stunning and have individual character - none of the hikes are too difficult - yes some up and downs - but 2 hours max between any village to the next and then you can get one of the very frequent trains back if you can't face the return hike. Again where else In the world can you do something so incredible so easily? As you can tell, we just loved Le Terrazze B&B and the region. Definitely coming back - and definitely telling everyone I know to do it as soon as...

Wonderful stay. Perfect weather. Lovely, welcoming Landlords....only wish we could have stayed longer.. Quite a place! LOVE the Terrazzes. Loved location near market and fairly close to start of walk ....and bus service. Breezes and sunset and rise rival for most wonderful. Our apt. was personal, clean, and the owners were on site and helpful. I would consider a return trip and highly recommend for larger groups of 5-6. We have fond memories.
