My husband and I recently spent 3 nights at Gigante in one of their newly renovated rooms up the street from the main inn. The room was beautifully decorated and had a gorgeous terrace with an ocean view. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept on -- I am searching for one just like it here in...

This hotel is located in the "new town" (turn left coming out of the train station). It's a straight shot down the street and has no hills, which is a convenient for those with large wheeled suitcases not backpacks. Hotel has six rooms on the ground floor, so no view, but very quiet with good blackout curtains. The rooms are...

We stayed at Cà du Gigante for a 3-night stay to hike the Cinque Terre trail and spend a bit of time on the beach. The hotel is located in the “newer” part of town. It is very quiet at night and we were happy we were not staying in the “older” part of town. It’s only a 5-minute walk...

First of all, I am writing a review about 2.5 years after I stayed at the A Ca du Gigante - which may seem odd - but I had a hard time finding this hotel on Trip Advisor to solicit my feedback & finally did so today... We visited Cinque Terre in December of 2005 & if you've ever visited...

Great hotel and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Beautiful breakfast area with a large selection. The A/C worked great although my dad complained in his room it blew right on him while he was sleeping. Our rooms were very comfortable, great beds (best I had during our whole trip to Italy). Bathrooms are a little small. I was...

We stayed here the first few days of July (three families in total), and had such a wonderful time. The rooms are very lovely and comfortable, with great beds, and air conditioning, and very clean. Breakfast is served in a very pretty room, and has a nice assortment of items. The cappuccino was great! Claudia and the staff were very...

A Ca du Gigante was a wonderful treat in Monterosso! Close to the beach and the hiking path. Located in the new portion of town it was a little quiter at night which was great for us. Breakfast was more than expected and the service was great! I would definatley go back and stay with Claudia and her family.

Great place to stay in Cinque Terra. A small property, only 7 rooms but very high quality construction and decoration. The rooms are very small but adequate, and air conditioned! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Monterosso is a great place to stay to see Cinque Terra. Very nice beaches, not too crowded and a number of great restaurants....

A Ca du Gigante is a small and well looked after hotel in the "New Town" of Monterosso al Mare, the largest town in the Cingue Terra. It is a 30 second walk to the promenade along the sea and the free and pay beaches, (pay the 20 euros for two beds and an umbrella, it's worth it.), and a...

We stayed here as a family in both the hotel and apartment. The ownership of the hotel is wonderful, friendly, and accomodating. They made every effort to be certain our stay was excellent. We truly felt like family during our visit. The breakfast room is gorgeous and a large spread of coffee and eggs made to order, juices, fantastic yogurt,...
