My husband and I stayed here as part of our Italy Wedding/Honeymoon trip in April. It is quite a workout to reach this B&B, but the smells of Maria's lemon tarts cooking will keep you moving uphill. We had a lovely stay, and although our room was quite small, it was clean, modern, and well kept. The lemon trees that...

We recently spent 3 wonderful days in Monterosso al Mare in the Cinque Terre and loved staying at Casa Dei Limoni. It's a 200 year old farmhouse recently remodeled, perched way up on a hill, with a view of the sea, a lemon grove, and outside seating for breakfast. It's run by the gracious Maria and her husband, both former...

If you are walking the Cinque Terre then the 82 steps (more or less) from the road to this B & B will be nothing to you. They are serious steps too, several feet apart and cobblestoned. Not something to contemplate if you are infirm, or with alot of luggage. Not really appropriate for a single night's stay either, in...

Casa Dei Limoni was the very best accomodations on our 10 day trip to Italy. Maria welcomed us as if we were family and offered us a cold glass of homemade lemonade which was very refreshing after the rugged climb to the casa. She went out of her way to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable. Her house is beautifully...

The only thing that stopped me from giving this lovely B&B a 5 star rating is the fact that they had overbooked and we had to stay at another hotel on our first night. Luckily the alternative (Hotel Margherita) was excellent so we were not bothered by this. La Casa Dei Limoni is a fabulous place. Sure the stairs to...

My husband and I spent three glorious days in Monterosso, exploring the Cinque Terre, made all the more special by Maria and her magical B&B La Case dei Limoni. The walk up the hill from town is well rewarded with amazing views if the ocean which you can enjoy sitting on the terrace sipping home made Limoncello! Heaven! The B&B...

I stayed in Casa dei Limoni just one night but my mother stayed there as a single traveller for 5 nights and had the best time! The setting is great, with rooms overlooking the lemon garden and the sea. Breakfast is great, served outside when the weather is good. The structure belonged to the parents of Maria, the owner. She...

We booked La Casa Dei Limoni through Venere.com four months before our trip to Cinque Terre. We received an email confirmation and everything was ok. When we got there they told us the hotel was overbooked and that we had to stay in a crappy 2 star hotel. They said the travel agent was responsible to inform us (which they...

My wife and I had a lovely time at this B&B. It's about a 10 minute walk from the train station, and sits on top of a hill just outside the town. Our room had a wonderful view of the town and, as a bonus, it was nicely decorated and updated (unlike many of the B&Bs we have visited). The...

I agree with most comments re this lovely bed & breakfast on the edge of Monterosso. Maria was a lovely host and the view from our bedroom window was spectacular. Main concern was the steep climb to the property, thankfully we also had read the comments on trip advisor and only took the necessary belongings out of our cases to...
