We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Seaview apartment. This stay was all about the location. The 100+ stairs to our apartment were part of the adventure. We would recommend using the bag transfer system from the train station for a nominal fee, it was well worth it. Upon arrival, we were in awe of the panoramic view of Vernazza.... More

We stayed in the room on the top of the hill and loved it. It is tiny and the bathroom is tiny. However, as so many of the reviews say, the secludedness, the huge balcony, and views make it more than worth staying in a small room. We are light packers and only had backpacks with us so we didn't... More

If you do your homework and plan ahead, it is possible to make your stay in Vernazza very wonderful and relaxing. Come for the views, the hiking, the joy of exploration, the beauty of the town and the slower pace of life. If you need a butler or bell hop, stay in Monterosso. These room rentals are very basic, but... More

We did our research and took only backpacks, no luggage. We had the bigger of their rooms with private terrace. View of Vernazza and the Ligurian Sea cannot be beaten. Room had a table and chairs, fridge, cutlery and plates. Outdoor sink to do dishes in, bathroom down a spiral staircase. Having an escape from the crowds to see the... More

We really enjoyed our stay at rooms la torre. Regardless of what other reviewers have said we found the rooms perfect for what we needed: a large terrace with table and chairs to eat and drink at, sun chairs, best view in town and a bed to sleep in. The room is small but we really only used it for... More

This place is expensive for a view - that's all you get for your money. It's very basic. There is no cleaning of the room or changing linen or towels. There is an outside sink to do your dishes - but no dishwashing liquid. There is a tea towel on top of the fridge that is dusty and looks like... More

I will start with the fact that we had already spent 3 nights in Venazza in a beautiful bed and breakfast called La Mala ( see other review). Unfortunately due to availability we had to move hotels for our 4th night. We were met by a lady at the bottom of the steps, with our 2 very large suitcases, she... More

Where to start. The memorable stay at Rooms La Torre was well worth the climb up the hundreds of stairs. Our stay in Vernazza was one of our highlights on out European backpacking adventure.Even after a long day of hiking, the wonderful views and the sound of the waves below made the long walk up to the room well worth... Vernazza is as beautiful as all the reviewers say. Maybe more so. But Camera La Torre was a nightmare and we feel compelled to tell travellers why. You have to climb stairs in Vernazza. If you've seen the photos you will understand that this is a town built onto a steep hillside. The stairs themselves are charming, ancient stone steps;... More

What a perfect place to stay in Vernazza. The village is (in my opinion) the best in C Terre. Very quaint, very small and very pleasant. The B&B is an excellent option to spend a few days here. Located on a hill top (quite a lot of stairs), it has perhaps the best views of the sea. We paid extra... More

“Ask for the 2 level Room with private terrace. You have to climb many stairs, be sure to pack light or use a backpack. Before returning to your room in the evening pick up wine and snacks, it's a long way down to town to pick up supplies for the evening. Sipping wine and enjoying the sunset on the terrace is wonderful.”
