This was a real treat, but one in which we wish we had more time. We arrived on a very foggy day and had driven to the coast. Hint: drive or take the train to either of the starting points to the Cinque Terra and...More
Went to Cinque Terre for hiking with my friend. We went up to the hostel from the train station in Vernazza carrying our backpacks. The road was really steep and it took us about 30 min to walk. But we did really like it!
Me and my family visited Vernazza in. The location is fantastic. Who
loves nature will really enjoy this place as when you wake up and look after of your door you see nothing but beautiful view of vine yard and further up blue sea. Very...More

The beginning of the trail starts close to where you exit the train platform. We missed the morning bus that takes you into town one morning, so we walked from the agriturismo down the hill into town to walk the trail. It took us approximately 40 minutes to get there. The bus would have gotten us there in about 10 minutes. I would recommend taking the bus to save your energy for the trail!
