This is a family run hotel and the staff are friendly and provided excellent service The hotel is old but very clean ,comfortable beds and quiet, we had a room on the 5th floor which had a view of the port. Very handy to railway station and the old part of town. Would stay here again if in Genoa

This budget hotel is just minutes from station principal. You enter from the street via a lift from which we were greeted by the manager We paid a little extra for a view over the port which was well worth it. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were a little sparse but very clean.breakfasts were typically continental but good...

Its located very close from the central station Piazza Principe. The hotel is very unique that two buildings connected so it seems like a maze. The water press isn't strong for showering, can hear outside nose, however the staff are so kind & friendly!! Free breakfast, wifi, city map & reasonable hotel fare!! I would recommend!

It is one of the nicest Hotels we have ever stayed in. High on a Cliff, and in the Centre of a Beautiful City. We travel by Taxi when arriving in a City that we do not know. It was surprise to see such a small entrance, and the Hotel Name displayed high up. Genoa is built on a Cliff,...

My wife and I stayed in Vittoria for one night post cruise. Our package included the basic room with breakfast. First of all as previous reviews have said it is very difficult to get to the rooms, once you have managed to stop at the side of the Hotel you have to lump your luggage to a tiny lift and...

We stayed therevfor 3 nights as part of our cruise package. First we were given a small room with a window opening on to near by building, however it was changed with another larger comfortable one. The staff are great except an elderly short Grumpy fellow who looked miserable although polite . The room itself is cleaned and has a...

Very difficult to check-in if arriving by car as there was no street parking available, otherwise once you find the elevator from street level to reception the staff are excellent and very helpful. This is an 'old fashioned' hotel with basic rooms (with mini fridge) but very clean and tidy with breakfast. The wifi was the easiest to connect to...

Hotel Vittoria is located in a tall building just across the road from the train station, behind the Farmacia. It is well signed and is reached by elevators. Reception is welcoming and fast. Good sized room (137) with well-equipped bathroom. Good storage/mirrors/aircon/TV/wifi. No fridge. Bf is good by European standards. Hotel is well positioned for exploring the city and port....

Good hotel for the price! A very friendly staff and a good continental breakfast - just don't expect a high-end hotel. It is clean but very basic. We found all the previous reviews right on the mark. We stayed in Genoa for one night before continuing on to Cinque Terre. We hired a great guide (Paola with Genova Guide Tours);...

Good for a stop over if flying in to join a cruise or vis versa. Access to the Hotel is a very narrow passage to the lift would be very difficult with a wheelchair. Also steps to the internal lift. We did ask if there was an alternative entrance but there isnt, Friendly staff and a good Continental breakfast
