My Wife and I stayed at Olivium for four nights (not nearly long enough) as part of our honeymoon around Italy. As soon as we got there we were very warmly welcomed by Nicola's staff, with beautiful flowers in our room and a bottle of wine from Nicola to celebrate our marriage. The room was lovely, very spacious, clean and...

We stayed here for 3 days as a party of 7 in 2 seperate 2 bedroom apartments, both were well equipped and spotlessly clean. Nicola and his team were great, friendly and helpful with a supply of espresso and always a smile! This is a beautiful place to stay with amazing views but you do need a car to reach...

We did not stay at Residence Olivium but signed up through Arbaspaa for olive oil tasting for 144 euros for four people. Nicola picked us up at 5 pm in front of the Hotel Firenze & Continentale in La Spezia and took us to his place and then drove us back through the winding hills at 7:30 pm. Nicola is...

Very remote but worth it for the views. Pool is lovely and we had a large balcony. Run by a lovely chap and his boyfriend. The older man was really helpful, giving plenty of advice for visits, parking and restaurants, the younger chap was less helpful. Pool got very busy as shared with another property and not always enough beds...

Olivium is located in the hills located above La Spezia, with easy access to the UNESCO world heritage site "Cinque Terre". We were traveling by rental car from Rome, and we were looking for a location outside the city with easy parking (Cinque Terre not accessible to autos). The drive to the resort was challenging, but the view was awesome....

The location is perfect for exploring many beautiful old towns on the Ligurian coast, such as Lerici, Portovenere and the Cinque Terre, which are easily accessible by train or bus if you don't want to drive. Its quiet position in the hills above La Spezia, surrounded by beautiful woodlands and olive groves also makes it a perfect place to relax...

Wonderful is the adjective I would use to describe the few days spent at Olivium. The location is great - very peaceful - and the appartments are comfortable, clean and well-equipped. Nothing is too much trouble for the owner (Nicola) and his staff who gave us a warm welcome and plenty of tips on local restaurants and places to see...

In the evening, there is the possibility to have an Italian "aperitivo" by ordering some "bruschetta" and cool drinks and taste them in the patio overlooking the countryside.
