The Grand Hotel Bistro is a wonderful hotel. We booked through Great Value Vacations and were very pleased. The staff is friendly. Breakfast was a definite highlight with wonderful views and Prosecco every morning. The restaurant is a little pricey but really good with excellent staff. It's a good option if the weather is bad. The hotel is about a...

We booked a 3 night stay with Voyage Prive and was pleasantly surprised just how lovely the hotel was having read some negative reviews. We stayed in a deluxe room with sea view. There was a small balcony with beautiful views across the bay. The room itself was large, clean, spacious and well equipped just watch out for the Mosquitos...

Unlike previous reviewers who focus on a 150-year-old railway line and the trains that run upon it, a crane on private land and mosquitoes that are somehow the hotel's responsibility, I would like to focus on what is within the scope of this establishment and which, in my opinion, is done well. The hotel is extremely well-situated with a wonderful...

Myself and my husband spent our mini moon in this hotel and had a lovely time. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk from what you would consider to be the centre of Rapallo. It’s a beautiful little town with lots of fantastic bars and restaurants and quite a few shops. In terms of visiting as a tourist, there isn’t a...

We had booked a "De Luxe Room with seaview and balcony." The room we were given ( not taken to and no sign of a porter ) was scruffy with faded decor and damaged surfaces. It was also very warm ( 29 degrees) An attempt to turn on the air conditioning proved useless due to a damaged control. The bed...

If you wish to visit the Ligurian Coast I would recommend Rapallo which is a beautiful town which is very well located for exploring. The Hotel Bristol is within a 12 minute walk along a coastal path to the town. It is located on a bit of an incline giving you fabulous views of Rapallo, Santa Margherita and Portofino. The...

This was the penultimate hotel in our honeymoon tour, and of the five hotels we stayed in over two weeks it was our absolute favourite. Firstly the setting is wonderful, and the hotel itself is a beautifully presented building with great facilities throughout (parking, pool, spa, breakfast - all top notch). It’s also situated just off the seafront with a...

The hotel was very nice. The only reason I did not review it higher, the bedding was very uncomfortable and the shower needed some attention! About a 20 minute walk to town. The cabs are a ripoff. A 3 minute ride from the train to the hotel 15 Euro. If you are going to chinque terra leave early. To get...
