Canceled train, no problem. Lovely small hotel between beach and train. Clean, comfortable bed, Quiet, nice balcony with view down the road to the ocean, bathroom across the hall. Thank you for saving us. We had a nice dinner and evening in your town.

I have stayed in quite a few places while being stranded in Europe and this one ranks up there near the top. It's a quality hotel, reasonably priced and in a good location. The managers go to great lengths to help you if you need anything. There heart is in it. They are very serious about keeping it extra-clean during the coronavirus. The bed is comfortable.

Had an excellent stay. The room was quiet and clean, staff was kind and friendly, and the breakfast was delicious, with fresh pastries that you often don't find even in higher category hotels. Location is perfect too.

We've stayed at this family run hotel a number of times and wouldn't hesitate to do so again. The staff are welcoming and helpful, the rooms are clean and well appointed for a 2 star hotel and it is convenient for walks to the shops, seaside, restaurants and other Venti delights. The hotel provides an excellent range of food and drink at breakfast times.

This hotel is true to the the Italian era in which it was built. We made a last minute reservation when our train from the Spanish french border took us as far as this town on our way to Rome. It was a midnight arrival and the hotel was a 5-7 minute walk from the train station. We were checked in by a gorgeous friendly older lady. The amenities were all adequate, we slept heavily so the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and acceptable. The shower is made for small to medium frames with the doors swinging onwards or outwards. Recommended for a true local feel. Ps stop at the bakery in front of the train station 😄

We spent one night at this hotel earlier this month. We had not reserved ahead. The location is handy for restaurants and activities on the sea front and is also easily reached when first entering the city. The hotel is spotlessly clean with bright and modern bathrooms. We opted to pay for the private parking as it was raining and we were too tired to look for free public parking which is also available nearby. The rates and the breakfast were fair, but the rooms are small, at least ours was. But it does have AC and heating as well as a ceiling fan. The bed was very comfortable with good pillows. However there is no sound proofing at all and we could hear every word of our neighbours conversation. All in all, not a bad place to stay but not if you are a light sleeper.

I stayed with my daughter, who stays here every year. I personally prefer this type of hotel to the chain ones as I am more in touch with locals. The room is clean and adequate and close to everything including beach, cafes, shops, market, and station. Ours had a small balcony. I loved it, the breakfast (included) was light and lovely, lemon cake to die for! The staff are really friendly and most helpful. I would definitely stay again.

i have visited this hotel several times, as i love benidorm. i also visited it in may this year. climate change is affecting the weather world wide, as i am a world traveller and have noticed even australia is changing. i booked into the calypso on first may this year. it was extremely cold. now these hotels are built only to keep one cool, they are not comfortable really, a few sticks of cjeap furniture and a couple of beds. and for tis, as a solo traveller i pay a high premium, single supplement. i was put into room 1103 it waqs very very cold. i lloked for the aircon, it was by the door. as i explained in my last review, when i visited this ho9tel in june, yes i am a very frequent traveller, i am visually impaired. even i, with my very bad eyesight could recognise that it was faulty, it seemed to be attached to the wall by a piece of wire, and was easy to move around, it was FAULTY. i have been to otles, who have offered small fan heaters if the rooom is too cold. hoping this would be the case here, i went downstairs to reception. on of the grumpier female receptionists was on duty. i explained the situation, the room was far too cold. i even mentioned it to customer services. they always have an excuse at this place. i wasnt impressed......and the grumpy one, who needs a good course in public relations said to me......if you dont like it, find another hotel.......if you read my last review you will see i have had to put up with a lot of cheek from the reception staff here. so i went out and ought an attractive electric heater, for thirty euros. to keep warm, as it was a very cold period, and the room felt utterly miserable. the only reason i returned here in june was because i had booked my flight and paid deposit, i cannot say i was overjoyed at the prospect. yjru str mpy FIDSBILIYY GTIRNFLY sty sll. as i mentioned, i cancelled the forthcoming holidaty in july, and just hope they give me my eighty five euro deposit back. because i was a VICTIM of their bad behaviour. i have given the matter some thought....and i believe the following. if one is attractive, well dressed and has a touch of class, or a sense of style, it doesnt go down well witgh the r4eception staff at this hotel. because the woman staying here, whom i met on my last dfays holiday in june, we botgh were on the CELEBRITY cruise together in december, going to india, she was so good looking and well dressed, and she said how rude the staff were to her.....proves what i believe. they oject to someobody ....different. i hope i get my refund, already my sinsurers solicitors are on to it. ursula lennon, croydon, south london

The hotel was in a great location not far from the beach and around the corner from a market square. It was also located a short walk from the train station. The staff were extremely helpful and gave loads of great suggestions of places to visit in the surrounding area. The breakfast was great and check in and check out was very easy. The rooms were a good size and very comfortable. The TV’s also provided lots of channels and a USB port. I would definitely return to this hotel again. I also enjoyed that it was family run so the staff are extremely attentive.

We had not made a booking but luckily they found a room for us. We noticed immediately that it was a special place, staff who gave us special attention, carefully selected art work on the walls, even the choice of colour for paint work was artistic. The rooms were large, light and airy with a private balcony too. Beds were comfy and warm. Breakfast was also included the low price of 80€ in the centre of Ventimiglia. The best.
