We were first time guests at Dimora Del Riccio and already wish we can visit it again. We spent a week during summer 2014 and the experience exceeded our expectation. It has a great location in the hills, surrounded by nature, with a nice view and yet is very close to the old city. Our hosts were extremely friendly and...

What a treasure Dimora del Riccio is! After a short winding drive and a careful squeeze through the narrow last part of the road, a clearance in the woods opens up and on its hillside, the house is rising. The large terrace offers a panoramic view over the old city (Città Alta) and the Bergamese Alps and is the perfect...

Returning to Bergamo after 10 years or so, we looked for an hotel to suit our family needs - Dimora del Riccio has a spacious ground floor suitable for a family of up to 5; we are 4 so it was ideal - a separate room for the children, with a lovely bathroom inbetween for privacy! Access to the hotel...

We booked one night for me and my wife during a short stay in Milano/Bergamo. The B&B is located on a hillside very near the old city "Bergamo Alta". We rented a car from Milan and it took us about 50 minutes to reach the location. Once in Bergamo you have to pass a couple very narrow passageways so im...

I stayed for a week at the B&B "Dimora del Riccio" and greatly enjoyed the warm hospitality of its owners, Marcella and Pierantonio, who did their best to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The place is really nice and very romantic, spotlessly clean and tidy, and located in a beautiful natural area. I would recommend it as the...

This was by far and a way the best accomodation we found during our stay in Italy. The rooms were spotless and very tasteful. The views from the patio were very nice, the selection of breakfast goods was bountiful, and to top it off the owners went above and beyond in helping us to ensure we enjoyed all there was...

If what you are looking for is a neat place where you can really feel at home this is it! It is in a really good position for visiting Bergamo Alta (which is, by the way, fascinating) but yet surrounded by nature and a great view of the valley. The rooms, living room, kitchen and bathroom are just perfect, comfortable,...

It is a small family hotel run by very nice people - Perantonio and Marcella. They do all the impossible to make their guests feel at home. Bright interior, original colors in design, pleasant smell of cleanliness, cozy rooms with snow-white towels and bed linen, embroidered by hand by Marcella and her wonderful mother. Bathroom shines clean at any time...
