My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights and were impressed. We ate breakfast, dined in the restaurant and had a few beers in the bar - no complaints and very reasonably priced. Good swimming pool and sauna too. Parked up in their underground parking, no issues there either. Good hotel.

The hotel itself is fine - given its category and state, the price is fair and service proper. The hotel has an underground parking which is VERY dangerous. Right in the middle across the whole thing there's a canal that's 1-1.5m deep and around 20cm wide. In the evening the situation is worsened by the fact there's very bad lighting... More

Excellent location in the very center of Vratsa. Clean and spacious but without much in terms of luxury, especially not in the bathroom. Despite being suspiciously empty, the restaurant is not bad - friendly staff and tasty food. I guess it has to do with above the average prices (still very low compared to Europe)

Shower is open, running on bathroom floor. Bathroom gets all wet. One requested room was not available anymore and was replaced with a regular room. Double bed was huge. Central location. Good for one night stay. Clean rooms.

The parking (3 BGN) in a decaying underground garage (hard to find!) should clue the Western visitor that this hotel is not what one might expect to encounter in the UK or US. We had a room on the top floor with a great view of the stunning setting of the central square beneath dramatic mountains; the air-conditioning, however, was... More

We ate in this hotel restaurant twice while in Vratsa on business. The food was very good and it was nice to sit on the main square while eating. On the first night one of our main meals was delivered approx. 5 minutes after the other three. Second night one of the mains was totally forgotten about and we had... More

The best thing about this hotel is its location, right on Christo Botev Square next to the theatre, opera house and old towers. Although renovated, the hotel (three star) is somewhat basic, though it was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The only power outlet is behind an armchair, making it difficult to charge devices or run a... More

Staying here for a Monday night in December. The location is dead centre and just wonderful. Vratsa itself is a beautiful town. I am staying on the 4th floor, with my room facing the main square. Great views. Finding the place (with sat nav) was reasonable and easy as everyone knows the Hemus.... Also a few street signs helping point... More

What can be said about the restaurant... the waitresses salaries are a joke as the hotel is too stingy, they hate their jobs, probably hate the world and... IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT! As a diner you can expect cold stares, being ignored most of the time and having to beg for the bill. Dinner was ok but the lunch menu... More

The hotel is situated on the main square, right in the centre of the town, but it`s base is very old. There is a bad smell in the rooms (in some of them have been smoked). The bed quality is more than awful. The bed in th first room we got was broken, so we had to move in another... More
